Kingfisher Fly Box -Huge -Great for Your Boat or Raft, Holds Hundreds of Flies

I'd seen this exact box at a local outfitter and it was $10 more. It's not the same quality as my MFC fly box or holds as much as that $80 box, but it's the perfect size to fit in my orvis or simms boat bag. Tried to use several large C&F design fly boxes to hold my bass flies, but it became a pain to have my flies split into 3 boxes and some of my spring smallmouth flies struggle to fit. This one box holds enough flies to cover spring smallmouth and summer selections. It does come with a silkscreened KINGFISHER logo on it, which was a surprise. The plastic is all very tough which I was happy to see. The foam is super strong and deep. You might even struggle to get your flies in and may twist the eyes on your flies to do so. The foam is stronger than what's in my MFC box, which is good because some of my spring smallmouth flies are 1/0-2/0. I have a few streamers tied on sz 4-6 streamer hooks that fit fine. I'd even say a sz 8/10 might be fine. I'm going to get another one and set it up for med to large trout flies (clawdads, streamers, hoppers) and keep the C&F design boxes for nymphs and small dries. Love the clear sides which make selecting the right fly fast and easy.

Perfect for carrying my Bass Flys in my Float tube. I can put all the flies I need and then some in one box. It fits easily in one of the side pouches or in the pocket behind the seat. The perfect solution for big bass flies.

This is my second box. Seems to have a sturdy build. I use it for my saltwater flies, which has become my obsession during COVID!

Clear plastic doesn't make that white fly look green...you can see your bugs and quickly grab them out of your bag. Organize by tactic, River or Season.

I have bought many of these boxes in all of the sizes for myself and gifts. I love them and they are very durable which is great as I do mostly saltwater.
