I am chef just who just left college and use a global knife before buy the set and fell in love with them they are easy to sharpen and hold the sharpens well. Light easy to use. I have used other makes and none of them come close to global. Perfect for the job and should last you a life time if you look after them

When I was in college lots of my friends had global knives and I was stuck with my rubbish set in the end my dad said I got you something and he pulled out a set of globals and that was it ever thing I could chop I did best knives out there and since leaving college I have tried many other makes and some have come close but not hit the stop like global the best knife I found were the fish filleting knives the boneing knife and the salad knife no doubts best knives for every thing perfect for any challenge veg,meat,fruit,salad,fish and everything else you can think
