Everything I need
This is a great, sturdy case. The Main compartment is easily adjustable with velcro. I was able to move it around to put my student flugelhorn in the edge portion of the compartment and my valuable trumpet in the center. I don’t use it for a third instrument, but placed my son’s trumpet in the third compartment and there is enough of room for a flugel and two Bb trumpets. We got my son a used version of this and we loved it so much that I got one too. Mine, the newer model, has more space in the instrument compartment and is easier to get the instruments out of it. I keep my mouthpieces in the third slot. It has a nice mute bag and the music compartment has room for a normal size folder and a couple thin books. I keep my trumpet stand, valve oil and pencils in the accessories pocket. I’m sooo happy with it.

Great bag for the job….and the money!
I have packed my flugelhorn, C trumpet, and cornet in this bag. I’ve even on occasion wrapped my piccolo in a towel and carried it on top of the cornet. The review about potential damage to a bell is accurate. But it’s a gig bag. It’s not a travel bag for airport usage. I put my trumpet stands in the bell in the bag. They also help protect bell from light bumps. It’s a great bag for home to wherever you go. Straps on top of case allow you to carry a collapsible stand. Music pouch holds all music for the job plus a good stand light. Mute bag, included, has plenty of room for straight, Harmon, cup, plus a couple more. Compartment on each end of bag hold valve oil, rags, extra batteries for stand light, etc. I have used multiple bags over the years. This is by far the best and has relegated others to a closet…or to eBay.

Almost 5 stars
First I'll start off by saying that I'm a fan of ProTec products. I feel they are generally well designed and have proven to be quite durable ovder the years. Now, for a bit of context: I mostly play in big bands and as such typically carry one trumpet and one flugelhorn. The ProTec trumpet/flugel hard case I had was very good for some time, but eventually proved to be too bulky and heavy for my needs. However, I still have it just in case there's ever a time that I require the additional protection it offers. That brings me to the first major advantage of this gig bag: Although you trade off the protective qualities of a hard case, this gig bag is much lighter and still offers adequate padding to protect the horns from light to moderate bumping and bruising. I also like the top-loading design (pretty common for this style of gig bag) as it works better in small spaces. The mute bag that came with this product makes the whole thing entirely too bulky when attached. Instead I have found that the larger end pocket fits all four of my mutes nicely. There is plenty of space in the large side pocket for additional supplies, and the presence of additional pockets inside helps keep your life organized. The plastic pockets are excellent for valve oil/slide grease as I have had problems with leaking bottles in the past, and nobody likes having valve oil all over their stuff. The strap that comes with the bag sucks - thin, uncomfortable, and does not appear very durable. This seems to be the norm with everything, so I can't say I was disappointed. The straps that come with any bag made by anyone usually suck and I usually don't need them anyway. Something worth noting if you prefer to have a shoulder strap, though. My one major problem with this gig bag is the amount of space in the main compartment. How exactly is one supposed to fit three horns in this bag, as advertised? I never carry three horns so this isn't an issue for me, but it's still a little tight getting my trumpet & flugel in and out of the bag.Despite this, however, I find the comparative usefulness of this bag far outweighs my nitpicks about it. I don't know if there are better products of this type out there, but overall I am quite happy with this one.

Fantastic gig bag
Far superior to its Reunion Blues counterpart. This thing gives me peace of mind. Because the middle section is securely velcro-ed to the bag, the instruments that you put on either side are in no danger of shifting and bumping into anything. The fit is snug. I use it for one Bb and one flugelhorn. The bag itself has a lot of room for storage in the outer pockets for miscellaneous items like tuners, oil, rags, cloths, mouthpiece pouches, writing utensils, yadda yadda. I especially love the way that the outer pocket designed for music will fit long folders and ZIP up to keep anything from falling out. Tons of room for books, folders and music. The bag comes with a removable mute bag. This is a great mute bag, but it makes the case a LOT bigger. If you need the mutes, you need the mutes, but I'd recommend avoiding it if you can; store mutes in the second large trumpet section, for example, when you only need one horn. For how heavy this thing can get with the equipment it can hold, the bag is pretty well balanced when carried by the shoulder strap. The weight is very manageable. The bag is designed exactly as it is named: a bag to gig with. It's for those of us with a lot of stuff to use at gigs when we only want to haul one case for it all, even if the case is a bit larger than a single-trumpet case. If you only have one trumpet, you'll love the space for your folders, items and mutes, and you may need more than one trumpet in the future at an engagement. I'd say that it's a good buy even for the single-trumpet user, especially for $100, because it holds everything and isn't terribly large if you take off the mute bag.If you don't need a place for your folders, mutes and what have you, then I'd say get something else. There are lighter, smaller options. You probably won't get much cheaper than $100 for good protection, though, so don't think you're saving a ton.For those who don't know: it's not realistic to put anything other than a picc or Eb into the middle section for a total of three trumpets. Most "triple gig bags" won't really hold three trumpets. "Triple cases" usually do and come on wheels.-Pete

Great solution
The media could not be loaded. Love this solution, can carry a flugel and trumpet safely but I don't use the third pocket for anything but a spare book as can get a little compact for my liking, just the two is fine however. The mute bag is lined which is a nice touch and the other side is generous and well thought out.Great solution.Only thing that has broken is the soft rubber shoulder pad, but doesn't affect the usability at all.Great product for the price.

Great bag! Does exactly what I needed it to do!
Great bag! Seems very well made! Fits in trumpet, flugelhorn and piccolo at same time along with all mutes, mute holder, instrument stands, music stands and music. Plus bottles of water, valve oil and mouthpieces and various other peripherals. Also use with cornet, flugelhorn and sop cornet config depending on situation. It is a big bag, but when you put it next to the cases and bags it replaces, it is tiny and everything is with you in a single trip! Hard cases are always better for peace of mind protection, but when you need to reduce space and carry multiple horns, this bag is the business!

Esperaba algo mejor...
No está mal, pero por el precio esperaba un mejor material de fabricación. Poco la diferencia de una maleta de viaje común y corriente

Excellent Packable Trumpet Bag
I really like this bag! I wanted something back-packable and this bag is designed for that. Carrying my traditional case (with just a handle) on a 25 minute walk was a literal pain. I could walk all day with this one on my back and would even feel comfortable cycling with it. The accessory pouch is well thought out, with a place for everything I need to carry along with my instrument.
