I am very happy with battery and still use old Makita NICad charger, I only use it for flash light so I am not doing deep discharge or heavy load with the drill. So far so good, I like the performance of Ni-MH over NiCad. So as long as it never catches on fire it is a win!

Have an older model drill with a useless battery. Can't recharge it any longer no matter what tricks I try. Found a replacement and now my drill is good to go again.

This 3500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery replaces the 1700mAh NiCd original batteries in my Makita 7.2V Cordless drill. The actual capacity of the two batteries was about 2000mAh with a 3.5Amp load which is reasonable for this high-load application. The batteries were charged with a Ni-MH 'peak detect' charger. I have yet to try charging them with the OEM NiCd 'Fast Charger'

This is a replacement battery for a Makita power tool. Obviously I use it in my Makita power tools.

Used infrequently stopped holding a charge, won’t take a charge. Now I’m looking for a different brand as a replacement.

Cycled 3 times on a quality charger, these are NOT 3600mah. They are 2000-2100mah.

it fits, it charges and it works.

No torque. Only weighs 65% of the original and not even the same power. Waste of $$$$. Do not buy.
