Very good hood for the price.
I'm in school for welding and ever since I started using this hood my welds have improved. It is not to heavy on the head after a long day at work. It feels thin but holds up and does the job great. It looks slick. The auto darkening works perfect I don't have any complaints.

Worth every penny
Big fan of the helmet. Works exactly as it should. Have done some welding cutting and grinding with this hood and so far I am stoked on it. Headgear is fantastic. Way more comfortable than my old huntsman and Hobart hoods. A.little word to dial in initially but once you get the settings where you like the it's great. I would definitely recommend getting one of these. We'll worth the price. And the view is awesome

Good helmet except the head strap
Helmet works very well. The auto darkening lens is very fast and lightens up enough to see your work when not welding. The only thing I don't like about it is the head strap. It adjusts easily but it has a flexible back strap that is a little awkward and sometimes annoying. When I pull down the helmet it tends to loosen up at the flex area and the helmet doesn't feel secure. I don't weld to often, about 5 times a month so I can deal with it. Overall it's a nice helmet and has a large glass so you see really well.

It is a quality Helmet that works perfectly,, and the price won"tkkill your budget.
It arrived the next day after placing the order. The helmet build seems solid with plenty of room for my respirator. It took a couple of minutes reading the instructions, but I figured out the settings. Once I started to run a bead it was evident that this helmet was a game changer. The field of view is amazing, but when you see the Tru Color and the clarity of the view! Wow it is something to behold. The control knobs are on the outside of the helmet, and very easy to adjust on the fly. the test button is on the inside which is nice that it is cause once you test, it is out of the way. The knobs that lock the helmet up really need to be tight, the sweet spot that holds it up and still lets you flip it down can be elusive. BUT with the view through the lens, I find I put it down and go to work. There is no need to do a lot of flipping. Its is a quality Helmet that works perfectly, the price is right, the build quality is evident, and the spare screen protectors are a plus. Get one!

great welding helmet - great value
Works well and is tough and flexible so does well in the rigours of a workshop.

Great optics!
I don't know about durability or longevity.... However, the quality of the lens electronics and LCD are fabulous. The hood material is very thin and flexible but it doesn't need to be thicker to do its job and weight is the enemy for something hanging off your face. It's very light and comfortable. The weight is distributed well over the harness. I flipped it up and actually forgot I had it on for a few minutes. But, the lens shading and image is great. I've been wearing a much older Hobart auto lens for ~15 years(?) At the first arc, I honestly panicked a bit. To me it seemed like the lens didn't darken! At least for a few seconds until I realized. Cool! The arc is blue, the puddle is red, the back of my glove is mustard yellow, and I can see the edge of the plate to keep the weld running straight. Maybe all of them are like this now, but I'm astounded by the clarity. Before I could see a bright blob (the arc), a smaller less bright blob (the puddle), and nothing at all outside half an inch of the light from the arc. Turning it down only overwhelmed with glare and turning it up just made the bright blobs dimmer. It was welding by feel really. I'm a few hours of use in now, and it's great. Hopefully it continues to work and nothing breaks. The best $45 I've spent since I started welding. Being able to see makes welding easy.

Excellent value for money.
I don't normally write reviews but Yeswelder has really been impressing me lately so I felt it was right to give an honest critic of this helmet.I purchased my first one at the beginning of 2022. I have used it for heavy welding every since and it mostly held up. The settings work extremely well and are easy to use. The head strap is not as thick as perhaps a Killer, but the head strap has held up for the last two years. I also get a load of compliments on how nice it looks.I weld mostly aluminum. I use mig primarily and occasionally TiG. I weld mostly between 1/8 and 1/4 inch thick pieces with the occasional 3/8 and even rarer 1/2 piece. I weld 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. The helmet held up fine for 2 years and finally started having issues. Sometimes the auto darken function doesn't work, or it just stays on. This is mostly my fault as I hadn't taken very good care of it. So keep in mind, I weld hard core AND I didn't take care of it and it still held up. I know people who paid for a 300 dollar helmet and pay 75 bucks for a new lens once a year. I think I definitely got my moneys worth out of the helmet I ordered. In fact, I liked it so much that I bought a new one after the last one started having issues. It didn't die, it just started having issues. If you buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Decent helmet, great lens
Visibility on this unit is great compared to my old helmet. However, two bolts that hold it up just don't seem to do the job. Clear lens on the front is thrashed and Ive only used it about a week so I'll go through a bunch of those. Smoke gets in between the clear lens and dirty both so that you have to take it apart and clean it out regularly. Easy to turn the knob to adjust the shade accidentally and then you get a rude surprise when you go to weld. I like the sensitivity and the delay settings that my old helmet didn't have. It was just a single shade lens, but it was an Arc One, and that helmet does seem to be better made than the Yeswelder unit. Yeswelder is more comfortable to wear long periods. Love the grind setting on the lens so you dont have to switch to face shield constantly. Would buy again. Bought a retrofit lens for the old helmet to see if i can make it better. Price was ok for the new one-ok quality =ok price.
