I rarely leave reviews but sometimes an item and its seller just need to be given a shout out! This 100% Turkish Cotton extra large size throw is awesome. I purchased it to use as a beach blanket and it is absolutely amazing. One our trip to the river we used this throw as a beach blanket, a towel, a throw by the campfire, a blanket for a nap, and so many other things.The quality of the cotton is plush and luxurious and caring for it is easy. Additionally the throw is incredibly well made. I will definitely be buying more from Loomia and would encourage you to do the same.I switched last year from traditional beach towels and blankets to the thinner turkish cotton variety and after trying several from different companies here on Amazon Loomia definitely wins!!I love supporting small family run companies and I hope you'll give Loomia and their products a try. They also sent a surprise gift with my purchase that is pretty darn cool, I won't say what it was so you can be pleasantly surprised too.

I have never wrote a review so quick. This blanket is way bigger than I though, lightweight and breathable but warm and comfy all the same. There’s a slight smell (not chemically like others have said) but I have walked though enough cotton fields to know that smell, the description would be like earthy (and personally I love it). The craftsmanship is something I would expect to get from an artisan in turkey who has practiced for 30 years in their craft. I paid full price for the blanket (well it was on Black Friday sale) and I think they are under selling it at the price they are. Other reviews from folks like me have said buy it before they increase and I second that sentiment. Thanks Loomia!

This blanket is perfect in many ways! Lightweight but sturdy. Breathable cotton. I read about the smell so when it got to me, I first threw it in the wash. Around 1/3 of the tassels came undone and even in gentle cycle, they became tangled. The process of untangling, twisting, and retying them is painful! I'm now trying to dry it first, then rewet tassels that need attention. It's not a defect but just an awareness that if you wash it, maybe use the shortest delicate cycle. Check/tighten knots before washing. For some, it may be an option to inject glue into the knot so that the surface is soft but the inner threads are locked in place.

This blanket is AMAZING! I wish I had some in more colorways! It's beautifully woven, and as a weaver myself, I can say that it isn't easy to make these things. It works beautifully for flat lay photos, or styling a room.I wasn't sure how it was going to wash and was nervous to wash it the first time. I wash all laundry on tap cold, and I found that this not only washed up great, but it also dried in the dryer super soft. There were a few tassels that needed to be tied back, but just a tip if this happens. When it's wet out of the washer, check for untied tassels, then tied them securely while they are wet. If you do this and THEN dry, they will kind of set in place. Similar to wet locking a knitted garment. These are definitely going on my list for giftable products!

I'm so happy with this purchase. I immediately washed it in warm water but will typically use cold, and line dried outside. It dried quickly, no chemical smell. Can't say how this would wrinkle in the dryer, but line dried it was crisp and without wrinkles. Blanket was even softer after first wash. The color is nice, the cream is a parchment shade, without too much yellow. I bought it to use on a couch. The size is larger than a throw, which is great because we are all tall. The weight is perfect, like a lightweight and tightly knit baja shirt. I may purchase another one to use on our bed in the summer. I also plan to purchase their towels when my current terry towels age out, for the fast-drying, easy laundering, space-saving, and versatility, especially as a family who like to travel with only a carry-on size bag.

I've had my eye on this blanket for about a month. Even though it's summer, I wanted something that I could keep at the end of my bed. I love the Turkish style of this blanket. I have many Turkish bath towels and hand towels and although I wish this blanket came in blues and whites, I liked it so much that I figured the black and cream could still work. It's a good size - it has some weigh to it so it works well in summer and will be great in winter. Large enough to share and more than enough fabric to use on your own. Will buy from Loomia in the future. They also included a really nice gift of a Nazar - a beautiful, blue, eye-shaped amulet believed to protect against the evil eye. I love these little trinkets and have several already. What a lovely surprise!
