Massey-Ferguson 35 & 65 Models in Detail

A must read for Ferguson fans
Interesting, authoritative and extensively illustrated book, a delight for Ferguson enthusiasts. Nice to see information about the MF65 as well as the 35. Huge number of period photos and sales literature immerse the reader in a time when British engineering was second to none. Good chapters about implements and overseas production. Only minor criticism is that the text could have been longer. It's over all too soon.

A recommended read for the history carrying on from the grey ...
Bought as a gift but ended buying for self. A well researched book on the tractors that sold all over the world and made Banner Lane, Coventry an address known throughout the farming world, but is now but another housing estate - yet more manufacturing industry gone from this country.A recommended read for the history carrying on from the grey Fergusons through to the Massey Ferguson merger

Perhaps not as much detail as might have been!
I found this book disappointing. A bit shallow and far too many photos of preserved examples left me with a feeling that the book missed an opportunity to treat these two models to the in depth research that is the norm in tractor histories. A very useful chapter on implements rescued the book from disaster though.
