Sturdy
I travel for work and go to many industrial settings. Full of tools, it weighs about 80 pounds and it takes anything I give it. TSA has tossed it around and it’s got some scuffs but hasn’t broke yet. I’d say quality is comparable to Pelican, but it’s so much cheaper. Definitely recommend!

Warranty Claim 15 months Later
i bought this case in Mid-2014 for shipping my tools to hospitals all over the U.S. This case is on a plane about 50 weeks every year. Sometimes I ship it by Fedex, but usually I check it onto the plane with me, usually twice a week. The case itself is great, but TSA sure loves to open it up, dump the contents out, search, randomly throw it back inside and send it on its merry way. The insides and the case seem to hold up well, but I wouldn't wish the life of a TSA-approved lock and latches on my worstest enemy. After 15 months, the padlock holes are shot, at best. I knew the case had a "lifetime warranty", so I contacted them.Wow, their level of concern for the customer was really apparent to me. After sending them a few pics, they insisted on sending me a replacement case free of charge, without requiring a receipt or the return of the old case! Try that with Pelican!Good case + really great customer service = a superior product.Hats off to you, Seahorse, you have a customer for life!Dave K.

Nice case for traveling.
Purchased this because I was tired of the airlines playing who can toss my luggage the farthest. Another consideration was cost vs big name brands. So far it’s been very good, it isn’t impervious to wear and damage though. Already showing signs of abuse from the wonderful baggage handlers. It’s a great size, if your on a plane larger than a CR it fits the overhead, just the right size for a weeks travel.Internally, the bottom could be more refined, the molded posts serve no purpose for the no foam offerings. Will update after some additional travel and see how it wears.

I use it as a suitcase and it works great. The only thing I don't like about it ...
I use it as a suitcase and it works great. The only thing I don't like about it is that it almost takes two hands to get the handle up or down. You can do it with one but it takes a Vulcan death grip. Very well made and it should last for years or weekly abuse. They are not as heavy as a Pelican which could be good or bad depending on your needs. I weigh over 200# and I use it as a step stool all the time in my closet. I also sit on it all the time at airports. I have not tried to carry it on but I have tried to fit it into the carry-on test displays and it will not fit length-ways.

Impressed with the quality and value
I had ordered and checked out 3 different Pelican cases including their "Air" line. Great cases but they skip the size closest to this Seahorse 920 case in wheeled versions for some reason. The Seahorse case is close in construction and quality to the Pelican Air cases - not quite there, but for half the price, good enough for many uses. I think these will hold up find to light loads on airline flights which is my intended use.

They also seem pretty much bulletproof
We bought two of these because we were driving across the country and needed something waterproof because our suitcases were going in the roof rack. These worked well, we had rain and snow but our stuff stayed dry. They also seem pretty much bulletproof.UPDATE THREE YEARS LATER: Still love these. We use them for all of our travel and they still work great, no issues.
