adidas Originals Men's Superstar Legacy Sneaker

The shoes were exactly as pictured. The price was great for a pair of Adidas suede shoes. The items were delivered by UPS which was nice. More often than not, Amazon drivers can never locate my house which is one of the largest on the street.

I have bought these shoes over and over again, year after year since 2000-2001. I have always loved the feel, fit and look of these shoes. Very comfortable and useful in most situations. I have gotten these in many different colors over the years, but have always had a pair of the basic white with black stripes as my daily shoe. In white they can be a bit hard to keep clean, but if you spend some time and use the right shoe cleaners they will stay looking great.Over the years it seems like the quality has decreased a little bit and I find they don't last nearly as long as they used to. I used to get around 2 years out of a pair before I would have issues with a bubble in the ball of the sole that would pop when you walked. With newer models I seem to only get about 1 year before I start getting some breakdown in the same place. This was the same issue that would happen after 2 years with the old pairs, it just seems to happen a little sooner now, which is disappointing since the prices have gone up year after year and quality seems to get worse.I have also had some pairs where the seams at the shell toe split and separate, but they seem to have fixed this issue in the latest models, but only time will tell.With all of that said, I am obviously not too disappointed in these flaws as I am still buying them over and over again. This is a great and classic shoe design that I hope will never be retired or changed too drastically.

I love the retro look of these sneakers. The rubber toe makes them great for questionable weather. If you have not worn these before, try them on in a store if you can or prepare to return them because they fit a little differently than normal ADIDAS athletic shoes. They are a bit on the wide side of "M" so if you have narrow feet, they may not be the best for you. But if you like the big clonky look of wide sneakers, these will be very cute. You can keep the white leather and rubber clean with regular wipe downs at the end of the day or week. The back heal part is quite cushioned so if you are unsure on your size, maybe order the half size that is a little smaller because they are squishy and will stretch as you wear them. If you order them too big, they will flop off your feet.They are not an elegant look, they are a more cartoonish kind of retro sneaker so if you want something to make your feet look smaller, these really aren't the sneaker for you.They are durable, and will last you a few years of regular wear. If you buy the black color, they will last you even longer as the white gets dirty in the long run despite regular cleanings.

Traveling i went to an adidas outlet and i found this beauties. I didn't purchase them at the time and i regret later. I am glad that i found this rare kicks on amazon and purchased them before are gone. Seems like are limited quantities, because are sold out and rare to find. I really loved this particular model because 2 reasons, the silhouette and the texture. The 80's model seems to be much less chunky than other models. I owned a pair of superstars 2 in the 2000's and they were super chunky like a skateboarding shoe. This are more like the OG series with the retro look and more refined in style. White comes in 2 tones the leather is white and on the shell and outsole is some type of cream to give i think that vintage look. The 3 stripes and the top heel come with some fur yes FUR. I read that is pony hair i don't know if that is true but it gives them a certain look for sure different. I am a sneaker addict so im glad i included this on my collection.

I bought color blue which was awesome. Usually wear size 9 US for other shoes but specifically about 9.5 for adidas as they have different sizing measurement. So consider buying half/size larger if it's your first time to try to purchase adidas shoes.Having read the shoe sticker which says synthetic/leather, i think the upper part is synthetic, the leather is at the back of the shoe where the adidas logo is. This superstar shoe is a bit narrow which is ok for my feet type. Those with wide feet may find it a bit constricting. I normally wear a size 9 US sneaker/sport shoes, but go 9.5 for adidas only.I really like the blue streaks that appear where the creases are when it is bent. Not sure if it's permanent but it looks damn cool. The color is reflective when bright light or natural sunlight hits certain spots but a subtle way. This is why i think the material is synthetic as this cannot be achieved on leather. Overall, a great show-off casual everyday wear shoe which will get tons of compliments.Definitely not suited for real basketball game.

I'm a reliable 6.5 but I size a half size down to a 6 for all my Adidas. I have four pairs of Adidas sneakers and these are my goto pair. They coordinate with everything. The inserts were cheap and got dirty fast so I replaced them with a pair of Powerstep Pinnacle shoe insoles. The factory insoles came out easily and were completely removable without ripping anything. The Powerstep Pinnacle inserts don't fit a lot of shoes for me but with these sneakers they were a perfect fit without any modification. I can wear these sneakers all day, even before replacing the insoles they were comfortable. I knew I was going to keep these the instant I pulled them out of the box and tried them on. Only issue I've had is that when I wear dark stain jeans they stain the beige bit at the top of the back. I clean them by hand every now and then but they're instantly stained again the next time I wear dark jeans.
