Decent
My baby had a tough time with sucking the water through. The hole is so small you don’t get any water. I tried to make the whole bigger but it must have been too big. We instead bought Reflo cups. It’s similar to a regular glass without a lid but there is somewhat of a lid to slow the water down.

Perfect for beginners
My daughter 8 months old has a small mini size bottle that came in a package deal with multiple bottles and the package came with a handle for when baby is bigger to turn into a sippy cup it’s good and works but she was just getting hang of holding cop properly this cup I found 1 day browsing Amazon and it’s perfect it’s much smaller and instead of a bottle nipple it has a wider 1 which is leak proof compared to the other now she has 2 and this 1 is her favorite it’s way easier for her to lift and hold easy to wash and clean I recommend

It's just eh
We've loved the Mam anti colic and easy active bottles, and the other sippy cup they have. But this starter cup is just not that great.I should have paid more attention, but I did not realize when I ordered that 1) this did not have ounce markings on the side, 2) the handle, nipple, and top ring were not interchangeable with the mam bottles and trainer sippy. My mistake, those features were important to me and I totally overlooked them. But really, why no ounce markings?? Isn't it kind of important to keep track of how much your baby is drinking? My baby (7mo) does well with the Mam trainer sippy cups, and the ugly cheap take & toss sippies. But she doesn't care much for this one. The spout is a little longer than all the others, maybe that's what she doesn't like. Since the bottle short and wide it's less obvious when the water level goes down, and since there are no markings... it's a little tricky to remember "the water was halfway through that flower....or was it that flower?"Another minor annoyance is that the spout is so so easy to pull through the top ring that it feels like it isn't in all the way, then I end up pulling it all the way through. I also thing the ring is more work to clean than others.I've been testing this out on my baby since she was a little over 4 months, she's now 7 months and still doesn't like it. The trainer cup (which she took to pretty well around 4mo) is the winner in our house. Starter cup...not great. It's not awful, it just isn't for us.
