Yes it works even when you don’t blow dry and the smell is heavenly. Highly recommend

Q: How to remove yellow from gray hair?

Amika Bust Your Brass purple shampoo, conditioner or mask. It deposits purple onto the hair shaft to neutralize the brassy yellow and brighten the gray. Amika makes 2 oz. sample sizes for trial use.

Q: Can I use before straightening?

Directions say to mist on damp hair from roots to ends. I use it while my hair is still damp & before I blow dry or straighten. I've never tried it on dry hair, so not sure if you can do that or not. My hairdresser turned me on to it & I love it.

Q: Can this double up as a dry shampoo?

I wouldn't say so - it's very liquidy like a spray on conditioner or something- not a fine dry mist like a dry shampoo
