Nikon COOLPIX L620 18.1 MP CMOS Digital Camera with 14x Zoom Lens and Full 1080p HD Video (Black) (Certified Refurbished)

Very good digital camera (one of the few left that uses AA batteries/rechargable AA batteries, which means you can get batteries just about anywhere, handy when you are away from home or unable to bring a charger and second proprietary battery with you). Very good performance, excellent picture quality. One nifty feature is the Museum mode, which disables the flash (forbidden in many museums), and takes anywhere from 4-10 rapid fire shots and saves only the one in best focus. One quibble is that the camera can be set for a 10 second delay, but the setting doesn't 'stick'.... you have to wade through the menus to set the delay for EACH shot you take. This is a real nuisance when you are taking group pictures and need the delay so you can get in the pic yourself. This camera was refurbished. Beach Camera shipped promptly, the unit arrived with everything promised, but without the original packaging (Nikon refurbs don't come with original packaging). This was an excellent value.

Overall this camera works pretty well although there are a few things I would change it does take beautiful picture though. The Cons I would say is battery life as this camera uses 2 AA batteries and will eat through them pretty quickly so I recommend buying rechargeable batteries at least a 4 to 6 pk. Another thing is when you are recording in HD you get about a 30 min recording period then it automatically stops recording so if you are vlogging you have to keep an eye on the time. For the price though this is a nice camera just wish it came with a rechargeable lithium ion battery pack because it can eat through AA batteries within 30mins to 1 hour especially if you are recording videos. For taking photo's though this is a great camera with high quality images I also like that it does have a tripod mount as well.

It appeared this was supposed to have Wi-Fi capability which was the main reason I got it...but it could be I just have not figured it out. The real annoyance was it did not come with the cable to go from the camera to the computer to put the pictures on the computer....so I have to use the card which again is no big deal but would rather use the teather its just faster and less trouble. I may have to go buy one if I can't get amazon to send one but not even real sure how to go about that. If anyone knows if this is Wi-Fi compatable or not I'd appreciate it its not clear...they have something called, "eye-fi" in the menu and I kind of assumed that was it but its not. Any advice on getting them to send a cable or any advice on getting the shutter speed to go a little faster...or getting Wi-Fi if it exists to work. Mostly I wish I'd paid more to get more...:-) Another lesson learned.

This camera takes some pretty amazing pictures for a handheld cam. The low light shots are nice but sometimes come out too bright bc of the high ISO and effective sensor. Still, it focuses to take some great detail.The zoom ability in the pictures is nice but you really need to make sure the focus is correct. That is one thing I always hated with auto focus.Overall I think this is a great camera. If you are taking it with you on the go, it fits easily in your pocket. It has a decent optical zoom to capture most on-the-go moments within a nice frame. It's not really for zooming in on far away objects.I would also suggest lithium batteries as they last a really long time. For those who are looking at this camera for macro pictures, it does very well there as well. Great pictures overall.

Bought it refurbished, with a short warranty (30 days), gave it a try. almost 2 years later, working perfectly. It takes awesome pictures, for a camera of this level, it has great features and multiple settings (for those who take photography seriously and want to take it one step further). The feature I like the most is the zoom capability. This is a great travel companion if you don't want the bulk and hassle of DSLR or professional cameras.

A nice little camera. Bought for my 15 year old daughter who likes to shoot videos - works very well for her. Pictures are very clear, videos are very clear.The only reason it got 4 stars for me - it takes regular AA batteries. Somehow I overlooked that small detail when purchasing. I prefer the one small rechargeable battery for a camera, instead of constantly replacing those AA's. But my daughter doesn't mind that. It's the perfect little camera. And I couldn't beat the price.

Excellent little camera for ease to "carry-n-shoot"; it's approximately 4 1/2" L x 2 5/8" T x 1 1/4" W. The camera I received looked "good-as-new" and has performed very well in all the experimentation of getting familiar with it's functions and capabilities. For amateur, quick access, zoom, portrait, panoramic, various light levels, and HD video record/playback, this camera is fantastic ! With a Micro SD @ 32 GB, I get Boo-Koo photo/video storage. There's one drawback for some people. The camera uses "AA" cells and if one uses the zoom function frequently and/or the video function frequently, be sure to have extra "AA"'s. I use rechargeable "AA" NiMH 2500mAh cells and keep at least 2 extra pair with the camera. I like it - - - :^)

Got the camera on an Amazon Deal...Camera was advertised as refurbished, so I was not surprised to see some light scratches on outer case, and monitor. When reviewing photos taken, I have to hold the camera at a 45 degree angle to review photos properly on the monitor screen. If not held at an angle, the monitor does not show good, sharp colors, however, photos I have taken look good on my computer. I would consider it a so so camera to carry as a second camera. Camera was priced quite low, or I would have returned it.
