Can the seller please confirm this has the aluminum case?

Mine had a plasticized/canvas cover that it's in. The aluminum part is the mount and the brace along the end that rolls out.

How do I remove the light strip so I can install it in the other side (left verses right)? It wont slide out - it's stuck on the clear plastic..

I had the same issue... I used an 8 foot plastic trim piece. Slid it in between the led's and clear plastic, with the tarp hanging down. Once the trim was on place I was able to slide the led light strip out and reinsert the other direction.

Do I need 2 or 3 brackets for this size?

I used two ARB right angle brackets spaced approximately 16" from each end / no problems at all
