Nice to have an available replacement
Fit perfectly just like the title says for a Specialized Decibel Helmet. I ordered one then decided to order another. It's a better pad than original.

Replaces worn out pads
I've had my current helmet for at least 5 years and the pads have finally worn out. These replacement pads are perfect, and I'm glad they're still available for this model helmet.

good but thick
The pads fit my specialized helmet which was a different model than the decibel. Worked great. pads are thicker than the original so don't use on a helmet that's tight to begin with

An improvement over the original specialized decibel pad
First off. Lightning quick shipping. I ordered it on a tuesday and it arrived wednesday. Crazy quick.Here's the specialized marketing plan to encourage helmet buying. Step one; Make a thin anemic helmet liner that won't hold up to hand washing very well and fall apart in three years of very light use. Step two; stop making the helmet and the liner for said helmet. Step three; when consumers call specialized to acquire the helmet liner for the decibel, refer them to a new model.Along comes the individual who makes these liners and not only has he saved me $175 because I don't have to buy a new helmet due to these replacements, but he or she has actually improved upon the thin lame liner that specialized provided in the first place by giving you a liner with some real guts and foam. They give you extra velcro to secure your liner better so the fit is improved.It's great.

not a specialized product
the item is not what I expected. For $20 I expected an exact replacement of the padding that came with the helmet. The padding is much cheaper/thicker and does not possess the same properties as the original padding. The item description did not indicate the padding was not from Specialized - this is an aftermarket product. Others may prefer this item but for me the bottom line is that it was not what I expected. And I question the quality of this item - how long will this hold up? It seems cheaper than the original - I won't find out until I use it and see if it meets the test of time.
