What does it mean 'converted by vvivid'? does vvivid do anything to the film??

Converting is a general term for roll-to-roll mfg operations. In this case, probably cutting to size, wrapping it onto a solid core so it doesnt crush, maybe even adding a layer of some film or adhesive and, putting labels on it.

Will this fade my paint over time?

Paint will fade over time with or without it being applied.

how many feet do you get?

Hey Greg: I bought 2 rolls of 6-inch by 4 or 5 feet (60 inch length sounds right)Have now installed it on car and is almost invisible on noSe of our Prius. I also tested stretching a leftover scrap and the 3M stuff was incredibly stretchable yet unpuncturable--I could not puncture or tear that scrap. Watch the You Tube videos for installation as that will help get it on without bubbles.
