do the capped pens outlast the retractable in ink? Fine smooth compared to other fine point? thanks

I believe there is the same volume of ink in both retractable and capped pens; both last the same. How capped vs. retractable differ: oddly, although they are both roller-gel, the ink in the retractable seems to be somewhat clumpy. It does not seem to flow as smoothly as the capped pen's ink. I use a lot of ink at work (medical charting), and I still believe the capped Jetstream roller-gel delivers the smoothest line with less drag. It's an amazing pen. Highly recommended.
