Does this filter reduce TDS?

NO, I tested my water from the faucet and got .882ppm and then tested the water I got out of the nearly new PUR filter, and got .885ppm, so it not reduce the TDS.

Whats the difference between this and the FM3700?

The difference between the FM2500V and the FM3700B is that the former is grey and an Amazon exclusive faucet mount while the latter is available in stores as well and is chrome in color.
