I got this watch as a Christmas gift for my watch aficionado husband, and he loves it. He’s used to wearing heavier, more military style watches, and has said about 46 bazillion times “wow this watch is SO light,” since he got it. It looks beautiful in person, and he’s already recieved compliments on it. He did try to removed the links and size the watch down himself, however, the tool that comes with it is pretty flimsy and bent when he tried, and he was worried about damaging the watch, so he ended up taking it to our jeweler. Overall, it’s a great watch for the price, and I’m happy to let my husband think I splurged more than I did on this present.

This is my second wood watch and band. Once you have it on your wrist, the first thing that you'll notice is how lightweight it is. Looking at it you would expect the opposite. The beautiful wood-grain makes it distinctive. It comes large intentionally so you can adjust it to size for a perfect fit. The gold accents on the hour markings and the hands are tasteful and easy to read. Nicely boxed if you were giving as a gift and a great value for the price.

I don't use this word often, but "Gorgeous" is very appropriate to describe this watch. I have been a cabinet maker all my life, retired now, so I know good wood working craftsmanship and I can tell you that the craftsmanship for this watch is first class. Everything is well sanded, smooth to the touch, perfectly fitting, and works flawlessly. The beauty of this watch is almost indescribable. I have used exotic woods throughout my business career and Zebra wood is outstanding in appearance and incomparable with its multi coloured grain. I no sooner sized the band and put it on when my wife walked into the office and without my saying a word, noticed it and said WOW!! Because it's mostly wood, the watch is very light in weight, very comfortable and when wearing it, you hardly know you have it on. It's a simple face design with no bells and whistles, no date, no stop watch, no barometer etc., but the simplicity enhances the beauty and novelty of its being made of wood. It looks elegant in a suit and tie, rustic in jeans and plaid shirt, great for sports wear since it weighs next to nothing. An all around perfect anytime watch. And the price? My word, if this was made in the States it would cost at least ten times as much. One additional note: The sellers of this watch are the most friendly customer service representatives I have ever dealt with. Somewhere along the line my order was delayed, probably the fault of the mail service. I e-mailed the seller, they emailed me back within a few hours, apologized for the delay, sent another one right out which arrived within 10 days, and reimbursed me $10.00 for my trouble. You can't beat that! My experience with this order has been pleasant and very exceptional. The product is beyond expectation, the service is superb, and the price is fantastic.

I just got my watch out of the mail Friday. Its so nice. Its light weight as expected but not in a bad way.The watch does allow for links to be removed for adjustment of the size, and they even shipped the tool for doing so. This was my first time doing this and I unfortunately cracked a link so it cannot be put back in for in the event that my wrist gets chunky one day.No complaints from me.Disclaimer: This is in no way meant to suggest that this watch is waterproof. I do not recall reading that it is.. HOWEVER, I went swimming on Saturday afternoon 07152017 and forgot that I had my watch on. I was in the pool for about 5 minutes when I noticed it. I took it off immediately and dried with a towel. Its still ticking.

Love this watch. I am very allergic to most metals and leathers. So this watch is a dream to have. I work in the laboratory so my hands and wrists get wet often. The watch seems to take it well no discoloration or kinks what so ever. I would totally buy again.

Bought 7 for groomsmen gift packages, as was a little concerned about quality but I there was no need these are a great product. They look and feel great. I would buy again and this being my first wood watch I love them they are lightweight and breathable. They guys all loved them so I would strongly recommend them. They are middle of the road on style so everyone from avid watch guys to novice watch guys all liked them.

Fit/Function: It's a little difficult to shorten the band of the watch. I'm definitely heavily scuffed (if not all-out ruined) one of the first wooden links I touched because the little pin that they include with the watch broke while I was using it. However, once I got the hang of how to re-link the band, it got a lot easier. The watch itself works great; I've had it for several months now and haven't had any problems with it. It is much more lightweight than I was expecting, which took a little getting used to, but I actually have grown to really like having such a weightless watch. It feels like there's nothing there at all!Aesthetic: Love the look of the silver on dark wood face. I get compliments on this watch nearly every day!

I like it. There are no instructions on how to remove the links... but i figured it out. Did bust one of the sides out of that link however... but thats ok. I wish the numbers and movement were either larger or not gold tone. At times they are hard to see due to they blend into the wood. Still like it thou for the price. just got it cause its wood... something different.
