if someone told me a few years ago I could get a usb/xlr combo mic, with rgb, and a high quality boom arm, for under 60 bucks, I'd have laughed at them, maono keep pushing the limits with their new releases and this combo is no exception.for parents looking to buy gear for their kids: stop researching and just buy this. not only does its audio quality perform perfectly for discord, game chat and streaming, but it also looks the part too. any kid would be super happy to have this setup at their battle station. it also offers room to grow with them due to its combo connectivity option. start in USB mode and use the provided software to fine tune to your preferences or pickup a XLR audio interface (like the mano caster neo g1!) for even more control at your fingertips.for streamers, you no longer need to mess around with filters in OBS, setup the mic exactly how you want via the software and let this thing shine on stream, it looks fantastic on camera too!The mic sounds incredible for the price, you're not going to get sm7b levels of audio from this thing, there is some slight noise that needs removing if your serious about audio production but for just about any kid/teen/streamer/podcaster this is 100% the best bang for your buck mic and boom setup you can currently buy.the boom arm is surprisingly well made and bodes confidence, a boom arm of this caliber alone should cost more than 30 bucks, so the value for this bundle is huge IMHO. if I could give this 6 stars I would, the sheer value and quality is through the roof in this price range in 2025!

The media could not be loaded. As a content creator, the xlr/usb dual connections of the MAONO PD100XS microphone makes my workflow so much easier. It gives me the flexibility to switch between setups easily—whether I’m recording quick voiceovers directly into Premiere via USB or connecting to an audio interface for more advanced projects. The cardioid capsule does an excellent job of cutting out background noise, even in my busy apartment. The tap-to-mute button is a simple yet effective feature that helps me avoid any mishaps during live recordings. One thing you cannot tell from the pictures is how light the whole setup is. Both the mic arm and the mic are very lightweight. The highlight is the customizable RGB lighting for me! I have yet to play with the Maono Link software but I think there's many customizations available in the software too.

The media could not be loaded. Good audio quality, my voice sounds nice and clear. The headphone jack is a great idea, and the software is supe easy to use. The arm is okay quality the springs make a weird noise when adjusting it, but it holds it nice and tight. I would not attach it to the desk you are typing on as you will hear that but on a solid surface you hear nothing but voice. It has amazing sound cancelling, cannot hear anything besides what you are saying directly into the microphone. I bought this with my own money, so this is not a sponsored review.
