Everything I needed and more. Too bad the price dropped $30 since my purchase on 4-17-25. And could not use the 20% coupon on accessories.Note revopoint credited the $30 price drop after contacting them via Amazon .

Please read current update: So far, we have been able to capture most of what we purchased this unit for. It struggles with dark, or shiny objects quite a bit, and it scans slower than we expected, but it seems to work "OK". The big issue is with the lights on it. When you are scanning in tighter areas where you need some light. I wouldn't recommend using the onboard lights. They drain the battery at an extraordinary rate. We were at 100% charge, and started scanning with the lights on, and we used 50% of the battery life in 30 minutes of scanning. That's a far cry from the up to 2.5 hours of scan time that it claims. Seems to me they should have opted for a little bit more weight, to get some better battery life out of this thing. Update: Revopoint is currently working with me on the battery life issue. I will updated this review as things progress. As for now the service fromthem has been stellar.

I'm still learning about cad, 3d printing, scanning and associated technical jargon, but this device is amazing. I was able to accurately scan a variety of objects with minimal instruction. After reading more about the scanning process on the internet, I've been able to get better scans with fewer mistakes. Also, I love that you can delete mistakes and start from the last good scan. The process is so forgiving. A machine that does a better job than this thing is an exorbitant cost, at marginal improvement. This is going to do everything I need it to with automotive applications, and more. Portability is the biggest convenience with this thing!

Updating after finding a workaround for Mac-USB issue…searching the forums, I did find a solution, though not ideal, it does work.I am looking forward to learning to use the MIRACO Plus and the Revo Scan app.I’m sure you can understand my disappointment after spending $1,800+ on this and not actually be able to connect it to my Mac.BrianNov 1, 2024, 02:31 GMT+8Here’s what solved the problem#78 of this thread.Revoscan 5.4.1 doesn't see the Miraco over USB (MacOS)forum.revopoint3d.comYou might want to include that in your Customer Service notes.Previous…Revopoint says it supports MacOs, yet there are numerous reports over forums that share the same experience that I'm having on my Mac. The Miraco Plus simply does not show up on a MacBookPro to transfer files period. Have wasted too much time trying to get it to work. Sad. Had really high hopes for this product. Sorely disappointed.I'm using an M1 Pro, 16GB with Sonoma 14.2.1If Revopoint can provide a simple and reliable solution, I'll change my review, but until then, stay away from this if you are a Mac user.

Small learning curve but works very well for such an affordable scanner

This is the first 3D scanner I’ve used. I bought this over the others because of specs looks like they were on par or better than the competitors but way more affordable. So I can’t say that this scanner is actually better compared to the competition but I can’t say that it is very easy to use as long as the surface isn’t reflective and that I now want to try scanning everything.

Was difficult to get a decent scan.

This is by far the most user friendly scanner I have tried but wow you have to pay a lotSo far I’m saying it’s WORTH IT
