Really vibrant and smooth colours. Tubes are not made of aluminum unlike conventional paint tubes. They're made of soft plastic which is durable and doesn't leak. Binder is well combined with the pigments. Recommended for beginners as well as fairly skilled artists looking out for quality water colours in this price range.

Just received this neat looking 24 colours set of Camlin Artist grade water colours. I have always been a fan of Camlin products, and find no logic in buying astronomically priced imported colours like Daniel Smith, Sennelier, White Nights, or Windsor and Newton. (Perhaps, one day I shall, when my budget allows!) Anyway, this set is value for money, and that conforms to the hallmark of all Camlin art products. The packaging is somewhat on the flimsy side, and the grooves made for the tubes are ill-fitting, so along the way, you will need to discard the thin cardboard box and think of an alternate way to store your tubes of paint. The colour range is quite good, and should satisfy the needs of most artists. Happy painting, everyone!

I love camlin paint it is very good for beginners and also for the artists it has a very good pigment and blend very easily. Better than camlin cakes have good quality and quantity than camlin artist cakes. Will definitely purchase again but the cons are that it has a very similar shades of colour like yellow and blues instead of that camlin could have added other colours like ultramarine blue, violet or some bright colour like from brustro range.

Ease to use, very thick, water resistant

The watercolor quality is very handy for beginners. The pigmentation is as one should expect from products of this range. It works well on a good gsm paper. Blending is smooth, and you can activate and work with your watercolor even after it has dried once on or off the paper.A good tip will be to squeeze out paint as less as possible from the tube. A few drops will go a long way.

Delivery : Was fast but even when ordered within last 25 mins of time window, immediately it was downgraded to 2 day delivery instead of 1-day delivery. Packaging should seriously be improved, it was only slipped into the Amazon packing bag. This added to the loose packing done by Camel themselves which makes all the tubes move within the closed box. (See attached pic after unboxing the package)Quality : (see attached pic for vibrant color swatches)1] Paint quality seems to have improved quite a lot & definitely more vibrant than the cake/pan form.2] Colors in some tubes did come out suddenly after/during opening but it can be controlled by piercing the paint layer with a needle.3] Some tubes had tiny bit of gum arabic /binder oozing out initially but it went away after squeezing.4] Quality of the paints has improved quite a lot and price point is very affordable.This set includes a good selection of red/blue/yellow but wish it had a violet/magenta.Quality of tubes could be improved to make it more air tight since 3 of them had bit of paint in the threads.Conclusion : For Rs. 390/- set of 24 Eco- Artist quality paints is really great.The 5ml quantity can fill half pans for about 2-3 times.I wish the color selection would have been available in additional combinations (maybe as separate sets for particular type of painting like portraits/landscape, etc) since camlin makes 47-48 colors in all.

The quality is good . But most colours are pretty same like a shade or two lighter or darker , it is absolutely not needed and missing some normal colors like violet. It's might be good for professionals who have the knowledge to mix and make different colors by their own.
