The only thing you need to do to assemble this stainless steel steamer rack is to attach the feet. The slots that the feet slid into weren't open enough to do that; I had to pry them open a little with a small screwdriver to get the feet to fit into them. Once I did that, they went in with no problem. So far, since buying our Instant pot, we have made hard boiled eggs (the ONLY way to make them perfectly, IMO) and used it to pressure cook beef and chicken. My spouse really wanted to learn how to use it to steam foods, so I got him this steamer rack to start. He made mini cheesecakes using the steamer rack this weekend, and they turned out great. The rack held up well, and was really easy to clean. He is really happy with his new kitchen tool and plans to use it to make dumpling next!

I ordered this to use in a smaller sauce pot so that I could steam eggs (for easier peeling). It was a bit fiddly to get the legs inserted (the slots were not open enough and I needed to use a small flat head screwdriver) and I did cut myself while inserting one of the legs since they are metal and edges are sharp. But it works well and the silicone liner is nice and allows some cushioning for the eggs when you place them on the rack. It’s a decent value but I would recommend inspecting the slots before you try to attach the legs and that you can put on some gloves to save you from possibly getting cut.
