Winco Anti-Jamming Steam Pan, Full-Size x 6-Inch

I bought this to use as a litter box for my cats. It’s wonderful and stays clean and over a year later there is absolutely no smell and no scratches. I did put it down inside a larger plastic tote, but it works just fine.

I bought this pan to use as a cat litter box. It's easier to clean than regular plastic boxes, doesn't hold the smells and is nice and deep (important for those cats who like to dig around and toss litter all over). I saved a good $20-30 ordering this item as apparently having a picture of a cat sittting next to the pan commands a healthy premium. I'm certain that this works well for it's original intended purpose of storing and serving food though I have to agree with some other reviewers that it seems to be a bit thin compared to the pans we used when I was a restaurant manager. Nonetheless, it's a good product and I will buy another one when I replace my other cat's litter box.

These pans are deep and wide, which gives them the perfect dimensions for my back woods maple oven. They are sturdy so you can put the lip of the pans on the concrete and it holds with a full pan of sap with no worries of it giving under the high heat of the fire below. I mean I got well over 600 degrees and these pans didn't even flinch, nor did the sap burn. I got a better boil from these pans and they were a more efficient then using a stock pot because of the surface area. I used less wood and got a higher temperature boil. And the clean up? Super easy and fast. Stainless is the way to go, just put the money into this investment, you will have it for years to come. It's WELL worth the price.

Bought this based on a reddit post from a shelter employee that works in a high capacity/turn over shelter.Cat can get in and out easy and the best part is the metal will not absorb urine (unlike the plastic trays/boxes).Cost could be better (I bought used, corner was dented, bent it back).

The pan is terrific for why I bought it. It's sturdy, but not too heavy. It stands up to a lot of heat. I use it to sterilize my plant potting soil and seed starting soil in the oven - to kill any pests or fungi. (I've had some bad luck with fungi gnats.) It's a really nice size too with quite a large capacity. It fits great in my electric oven.My only reservation against 5 stars is that the underneath part of the rolled-under lip has a rough and sort of sharp edge. It's not a problem when the pan is empty, but once full, depending on what's in it, the weight makes the edge uncomfortable to handle. So I use hot pads whether it's hot or not.

Using pans to evaporate maple syrup. Purchased 2 pans last year 2022 and worked wonderfully! They are a little thin but work well for what I’m using them for. Purchased another pan this year to make evaporator larger to help with added trees/sap this year. Wish I purchased pans a little deeper because they will boil over if not watched closely. Able to pour 10 gallons in the 3 pans easily to start the evaporation process.

It seems decent, but it's very thin steel, a lot thinner than a typical stainless tray or pot. Dents easily. Otherwise not bad.

This item would be great as a steam tray in a cafeteria. But, its even better as a cat litter box.It doesn't absorb odors. It's easy to clean. The 6" sides keep most of the litter in the pan. It's unscratchable.By the time I replace a plastic litter pan four times this stainless steel pan has paid for itself.
