Does it have drawstring

No. You will have to get the size right as there is no drawstring. In our case, the size 14 fit very true to size. We had them hemmed because he is short for a size 14.

Why does it take do long to recieve?

Having trouble with sizing. my son is 47 inches tall and slim. the 7 i ordered could fit a 10 year old. should i select "little boys" or "slim"?

My almost 9-year-old grandson is 47 inches and 52 pounds, he wears a regular 12 which tends to be a little loose but adjustable, I also would recommend a slim if he is tall and slim, I have had no trouble with Children's Place when I bought, it fit pretty reasonable for him.
