Flash drive that does the job
Compact size but well built, this is a good little USB-C and USB A type memory stick. The swivelling cap offers protection while on the go too.Plugged it into my computer and was recognised straight away, file transfer was super fast.At the price point it's definitely a good buy, would recommend for those looking for a new flash drive.

Impressive performance and versatile connectivity!
I recently purchased the SanDisk Ultra 128 GB Dual Type-C USB 3.1 Flash Drive in Silver and I am extremely satisfied with its performance and versatility. This flash drive has quickly become an essential tool in my digital life!Firstly, the speed of this flash drive is impressive. With USB 3.1 technology, transferring large files or backing up data is a breeze. I was able to transfer a 4GB video file in just a matter of seconds! Whether it's movies, music, or documents, this flash drive handles it all without any lag or slowdowns. The dual Type-C and USB 3.1 connectors are a game-changer. I can easily connect it to my MacBook Pro or any other USB Type-C-enabled device. No more hassle of carrying multiple flash drives or adapters. It's a true plug-and-play experience, and the compatibility is excellent. The build quality of the flash drive is top-notch. The sleek silver design gives it a premium look and feels durable in hand. The retractable design protects the connectors when not in use, ensuring they stay safe from damage. I appreciate this thoughtful feature as it adds to the overall longevity of the product. In terms of storage capacity, the 128 GB is more than sufficient for my needs. It allows me to store a large number of files, photos, and even HD videos. Plus, the SanDisk SecureAccess software provides an added layer of security for my sensitive data, giving me peace of mind.Overall, the SanDisk Ultra 128 GB Dual Type-C USB 3.1 Flash Drive is a fantastic product that offers excellent performance and convenience. It's a reliable companion for anyone who needs to transfer or store data quickly and effortlessly. Highly recommended!

Practical and small.
Size is good and practical. And having the dual USB port is very convenient. The problem I found is that these have a tendency to overheat if left plugged in for long periods, even if not being accessed, and stop working. Which then requires unplugging, letting them cool down and plugging back in. So far this hasn’t caused a problem for me but I’d hate for it to stop working in the middle of something important so, not suitable for critical applications. I use it for backups and it has served me well so far. Read/write speed seems ok and different storage capacities to suit different needs.

Solid and Stylish: The Perfect USB-C Flash Drive for Quest 3 and More!
I needed a USB-C flash drive for my Quest 3 VR headset to store my movies, and the Sandisk USB-C Flash Drive ticked all my boxes. I opted for the 256GB version in a gold finish, and I'm glad I did. This is one solid, high-quality, metal USB-C flash drive. After it arrived, I immediately formatted it to exFAT and loaded it with 3D movies for VR use. The average transfer speed ranged from 70MBps to 230MBps. When I connected it to my Quest 3, the flash drive was immediately recognized by the SkyBox VR player (note: the Bigscreen Beta doesn't support flash drives yet). Note for all Quest 3 users: You need USB-C 3.2 to be recognized by your VR headset and SkyBox VR player.I also tested this USB-C flash drive with Samsung mobile phones running Android, and the connection was immediate. This drive can also be used as a backup for your gallery and other files. My only complaint is that, due to its small size and full metal body, this thing gets very hot! So be aware of that. Otherwise, I'm giving it 5 stars because it is solidly built and looks more expensive than what I paid for it.

tiny, versatile/universal, cheap and fast!
This is review specifically of "SanDisk 128GB Ultra Dual Drive Go USB C Flash Drive" variant (there are quite a few slightly different product variants here). It took me a while to find out that it's rather pointless to aspire for 64GB or smaller flash disks even though I only needed 32GB, because they cost almost the same as 128GB variants (which due to the design and laws of physics will simply last longer and are usually a bit faster than the same device with a smaller capacity). Then I looked for fast products that don't cost an arm and a leg, and this one was clear winner. £12 for rated speed 150/400 write/read MB/s in 128GB capacity variant.I need a USB-A right now but I also have devices that have only USB-C in my household so this having both ports is just perfect.I was actually surprised how tiny the flash disk is. I ran a "dd write test" to see how fast I am able to write to it on my iMac and the average speed for dumping 10GiB of data onto the drive was 94MB/s - pretty good if you ask me, especially for this price! So I'm absolutely satisfied with this. Yes you can find an odd 64GB flash drive for £4, but at that capacity you don't want to sit there for a week to create a bootable rescue drive or copy a film at the speed of maximum 2MB/s do ya. And I'd be concerned about the lifespan of that cheap one too. This Sandisk £12 flash drive is just perfect (unless you need bigger capacity - but they come as huge as 1TB - though that's then for a bit different £££, expectably).

Amazing little device
I’ve bought 3 previous (different brands) but should have done the exact same as this and had to send them back as none of them worked. This one however does exactly what it says it should - works amazing with my phone and laptop and will be a fantastic addition to keep my photos and files backed up safely. The price was a bonus too - easy to use very impressed

Hot, but smart and fast
Don't get me wrong, these do generate heat. I've bought a few of these however as they're very smart and work well. The mechanism does weaken over time however, so you will need to hold the switch as you plug it in but that doesn't affect me, I'm still a fan of these drives.

SanDisk quality, fast and high capacity.
SanDisk quality, fast and high capacity.I don't have a lot of need for USB flash/thumb drives. I've been getting away with an old 16GB but it started to become unreliable so out of all the ones currently available I picked this one. It is smaller than I expected from looking at the pictures. I like that it has both USB type connections that flip out from one side or the other. 256GB is way more than you need for installing MS Windows but these drives are very cheap and at $30 something CAD this capacity is the bang for buck deal since the same drive in 128GB capacity is $20 something so why not go double for like half money more.
