Absolute Perfection!
I thought I loved Dante and Viv…but I LOVE kia and Isa! Everytime I read one these books I fall more in love with the next set of people! Ana Huang had me feeling so much! I cried and left my heart fall to my stomach in some chapters, tears were falling towards the end! Oh my gosh! This was amazing

King of Pride Review
I’d say the book as a whole was kind of uneventful. I’m not gonna say that these characters weren’t good characters. It was just the story didn’t really have much going on. It was kind of basically just like these problems they went through were like real world problems I thought it was really interesting that Isabella ended up being a heiress. But other than that, I can’t give this like a five star review because the book was kind of a little boring for me like I have a hard copy of this book and I didn’t read this, but I decided to start reading it again and it took me two or three days to get through it because I would have to Stop And start again because I would just be getting so bored because there was literally nothing going on in the book, the highlight of this book was him exposing Russell and then breaking up and getting back together. That was the highlight of this book now Kai and Isabella they are great characters love them, but this story was a little bit uneventful and I feel like there was so much more that could’ve been done with the story

KAI IS SUCH A GREEN FLAG
I really underestimated how I was going to feel about Posh Kai, but oh my… he delivered in everythingggg! His thoughtfulness, his humor, his intelligence, and every single other thing.

it was ok. I didn’t feel much of a connection with the characters.
The story was fine and it was written well. The characters were just ok, I personally didn’t feel much of a connection with them. I liked the idea of each character they just felt a little flat for me. They had issues/hangups and we got some background but there really wasn’t a reason for the specific issues that carried the story. Kia felt like he had to win at everything…why? We got some history about his mom and her being controlling, but why was he so concerned with winning everything. And Isabelle lacked self confidence and chose to self sabotage instead of putting herself out there. But why? I didn’t see a reason in her backstory as to why she was the way she was. Her family seemed loving and for the most part understanding. I guess if I’m gonna spend 400+ pages reading about a girl who never finishes anything and then only makes a change in the last 50 pages I would like a reason for the issue that took up so much of the story. Plus in the end she wasn’t even the one to make an effort to over come that issue, Kia put her out there. Kind of a let down. Did she grow…I guess, but it wasn’t like we got to watch her make the effort to get there. We spent a lot of time reading about her internalizing her problem, but there wasn’t any real payoff in her overcoming it bc Kia put her out there and then poof she had an epiphany and everything was all better. Meh. The breakup was just off, I rolled my eyes through most of it. It didn’t feel like it fit, it was like the author just wanted to add another layer of drama, but it wasn’t seamless, it felt forced. Once I got half way through the book I found myself scrolling past large portions and only reading what was in quotations. I hope the next one is better. And yes I will read it bc I do enjoy her writing, this one just didn’t hit for me.

Another Great Book in King of Sin
While I enjoyed reading book 1 more than book 2 in the series just slightly, I enjoyed THE MESS out of Kai’s dry humor. Kai was one of my favorite side characters from book 1 so I was extremely excited to dive into his love story. Kai and Isa are one of a kind in this series with their HIGH expectations from their families and have their own ways of dealing with them. Isa and Kai’s relationship was a slow burn that morphed into hot and spicy once it hit.I was able to read the book along with the narration which truly put the book on another level of intensity during those spicy scenes! Kai absolutely wasn’t as buttoned up as he made it seem he was 24/7. And I was here for it! The narration overall was extremely good and really brought all of the characters and their cultural backgrounds to life.

Cute… although not better than the 1st
Kai and Isabella. It took me a bit to get into this one. They are a cute couple, but the story is not as good as the first one in the series. I did enjoy a lot of their banter. It made me laugh out loud at different parts, although their mis communication or lack thereof would also make me mad. I have to say I did like Kai much more in the first book, I just thought a lot more of his playful personality would come out. I had one problem with Isabella and it was the lack of confidence in herself, even though she appears like a bad ass. Now the spicy scenes were H O T, the piano one. Let’s just say it leaves nothing to the imagination. Overall it was a pretty good read and for a hopeless romantic like me it had enough of the slow build up that makes my heart sing.
