The Derek Trucks Band - Songlines Live!

I ordered two pairs of these shoes (5-1/2 and 6) to check for size. I usually wear a 5-1/2 and decided to keep the smaller ones. The straps were a tad bit tight across my toes but I wore them with a pair of socks for a few hours for a couple of days, and now they have enough "give" to be comfortable. My foot is somewhat wide with a bunion; however, the straps are positioned that they don't go directly over the bunion. The heel is a great height and I can walk comfortably. Love the colour - it is a bit lighter than shown in the picture and not as pink beige, just a nice neutral. They will go with a lot of colours. Very happy with this purchase.

derek trucks is a fantastic guitarist and has brought together a very talented bunch of musicians, trucks is the nephew of the original allman brothers drummer,this vid is 2 hours of nonstop playing,this music is not his stuff from claptons crossroads concerts but has a great rythmic beat throughout,this video is before he married susan tedeshi but is nontheless a great watch.

Right from the start I was impressed by the production of this DVD. The video and audio quality are outstanding. Although I've only seen and heard Derek Trucks play on the Crossroads (Eric ClaptonGuitar Festival) DVDs, his music was a pleasant surprise. There is no doubt that he is a great guitarist. His slide guitar is stupendous! The whole band is very talented. He showcases many different styles of music on this DVD. The band is versatile to say the least. From jazz, to rock, world music, and blues, this band can lay it down without breaking a sweat! If you are expecting strait ahead southern rock, blues, slide guitar stuff, then this might not be for you as the band takes you on journey to lands both familiar and exotic! If you like going to places new and exiting then you will really appreciate the variety and musicianship on this DVD performance.This band looks and sounds like they have played together from childhood. The fun. enthusiasm, and free-flowing playing of the band members displays the connectedness of everyone. Communication between the musicians seems to happen intuitively. It is like all the band members know exactly what and when to do at all times without the need ques.Really great DVD!!!

the DVD is what it is. It didn't work on my new BluRay player (Region code wasn't compatible with the player). The vendor was very understanding and did everything they could to satisfy my needs. I would highly recommend this vendor!

If you like Derek Trucks you will want this video of the DT band featuring Mike Mattison on lead vocals. A nice mix of blues and jazz with great playing from everyone - and lots of DT solos.

Nice musical set from an emerging artist, soul passion chops and style.Well worth the time reminds me very much of the musical style of Sea level !
