Can you use acrylic on this or is it just oil and water colour

This palette best used with watercolour pencils and caran d’ache neocolor ll, as it has a slight ‘tooth’ to it, which is specifically intended for those types of pencil/crayon. I wouldn’t advise using acrylic on this.

Will derwent inktense stain the pallette

I haven't used my inktense on the caran d'ache pallette, but the caran d'ache neo II's do stain, so I would assume that inktense will too.

How do you clean it? on the rough side remains a shade of my inktense and i don’t know how to get rid of it. i’ve tried water, soap, alcohol.thank you

It's best to clean it as soon as you've finished painting. If the palette is clean but stained, it doesn’t transfer to new applications of colour and won't make your colours muddy.
