Depends on the size of the iPad. If you take the length of the unit and divide it in half that's the size of the back 2 slots. They're the deepest and the slots you probably would want to put your iPad in. The iPad we have is an older model (about 2 years old) and it would not fit. A mini iPad might fit. Hope this helps.
