World War 2 Messenger Motorcycle Meets Tron Light Bike (Now with One-Year Update!)
I needed a vehicle with which to get to work. This bike inhabits a legal no man's land between motorcycle and bicycle. It has pedals, right? So functionally and legally it's a bicycle. That means that I can legally ride in the breakdown lane, and I don't need a motorcycle endorsement to any drivers license. No license, no registration, no nothin'. Just my style. I do wear a helmet, though. I call it my Tron helmet, with the flashing lights and the flip-down smoked visor. The bike is an engineering marvel. And the fit and finish are impeccable. The welds are flawless. Whoever welded this frame was a true expert. Any accent pieces on the bike are metal, not plastic. And the messenger bag is an aesthetic masterpiece, the cherry on top of a fine piece of work. The motor is powerful and the battery is large. The acceleration is quick, without being inappropriately aggressive. The acceleration curve, dictated by the controller, is set to maximize fuel efficiency and to be a safe ride for those less experienced, while still being satisfyingly fast for the more expert rider. In short, the acceleration rate is the perfect balance between quickness and fuel efficiency and safety. The bike will be comfortable to ride for those 5 foot eight to six foot two.The kickstand seems to be slightly long, meaning that the proper parking geometry is impossible to achieve. If you were to park this on a level surface, even the slightest wind would blow it over, a wind that would never blow over a high schooler's properly parked Schwinn. I just paid seventeen hundred bucks for this thing. I'd like it to lean over a bit to the left when I park it.This is a capable bike that is also way cool and also affordable. What more do you want? And, you know, in the upcoming Great American Zombie Wars, I will have the ability to manufacture my own electricity. I will not have the ability to manufacture my own gasoline. Just sayin'.Update:I have now been riding this bike every day for the past five months. I have put 1445 miles on it. The poor girl finally gave out. The motor self-destructed. She ground to a halt a hundred feet away from the crest of the final hill on my way to work. I pushed it to the top of the hill and rode the rest of the way downhill.I still give this bike five stars. It rides great, handles off-road trails well, and still turns heads.I will contact the manufacturer about perhaps getting a replacement rear wheel, which contains the motor. One bit of constructive criticism I have is that I wish the headlight projected more to the sides. On a moonless night, seeing side streets and driveways is difficult.One-Year Update:The fine folks at Smartravel sent me a new rear wheel at no cost last year. The rear wheel contains the motor. I installed the wheel and was back up and running in a half hour.I have included a video with this review. I now have 1650 miles on this bike. In the video, my trip ends with a flat tire, which most definitely was not the fault of the bike. I somehow ran over a three-inch nail.Excellent product, excellent price, excellent support!((I will have to compress the video before I can upload it.)

Incredible e-bike
Awesome e-bike! Was easy enough to assemble out of the box. I’ve topped it out at 35 mph going on a slight decline. Flat roads it will go about 28-30 mph. Uphill it will go 9-15 mph depending on the incline. It’s very durable and awesome looking. I’ve gotten many compliments on it so far. Definitely worth it for the price. I even took it out in a snow blizzard and it performed amazing. If you want a sharp looking ebike to either commute to work, go to the gym, or go on an off road trail in the woods, this is the bike for you!

Worst service! Horrible design for battery connection.
Worst service ever! Thought the manufacturer was in California, it's in China. Purchased 2 year no fault warranty. Total joke. We put this bike together on Christmas eve. Tried putting battery in and the connector piece broke off. They didn't respond back to me orazon. I went through their website. Sent tons of messages. You can't call. It days they are not available and to leave a message then hangs up. Took us 3 weeks to get the part and can't install it. They sent me a video on how to take the bike apart to get to where the repair part goes. I'm not a mechanic. Been emailing another week with no responses. Spent almost $1400 with the shipping and warranty and have a useless ebike sitting in our garage. Buyer beware!!!

This Bike Is Amazing!!!
Got rid of my car and got this instead because I realized all the places I go to are all really local, and the part time job I just got is the same way. Plus all the savings, and being able to rent newer cars when I do fancy to venture out a bit farther; it was a no brainer for me!This. Thing. Is. Amazing! My biggest surpise is with how fast it gets up to speed, and the top speed itself. In just two days, I've already put 40 miles on it! Note: I would definately wear full gear with this; i personally wear a full face motorcycle helmet and padded clothing whenever I'm out on this or my Boosted Board, not worth getting more hurt than necessary or worst, and thanks to the motorcyclish styling of this bike, you won't look like an overprotected coward riding with all the gear on.The one thing I will say is after a 10+ mile ride the seat can become a bit uncomfortable, still looking at options to fix that; but overall the bike is great and if you're hesitating to buy it, don't!The other thing is the bike battery screen isn't fully accurate (or I'm misreading it), it shows down to two bars, but when I get off it and turn it on again, shows full battery. Minor, but something to mention; had no trouble going 20+ miles pretty much flat out the whole way.Between this and the Boosted Board V3, I'm one very happy man.Buy it.
