Active Sunflower Fly Killer Window Stickers

I had previously bought something similar to this but it was sticky and the flies stuck to it - each summer I seem to get a swarm of fruit flies annoying me. I was laughing when I first put them up as the flies were crawling over them and nothing was happening. They have now been up for about 8 hours and on the windowsill beneath where I have one there is a little pile of dead. The other one is stuck on the tiles above my sink as the flies seem to congregate there and I have a similar small pile of flies there too. So these really do seem to be working. Well worth the money as I have tried fly spray and I'm sure they were just laughing at me as I sprayed it as it didn't seem to affect them or kill them. Much safer to use these stickers than to use nasty, stinky fly sprays.

Having read several reviews of this Active SunflowerFly Killer Window Sticker many of which sing thepraises of this product, I thought that I would givethem a try.I do not have many flying insects around the home,but these things do not kill even the smallest ofHouse flies.I did everything that is advised in the instructionsand find this product totally useless.It really amounts to nothing more than a prettyfloral sticker for the window. I will stick tomy battery operated fly zapper that looks likea tennis raquet. At least that does work.Advice?Do not waste your money.

Item arrived on time, but is disappointing as the glue film on it doesn't catch any fly at all, seams like old stickers or poorer quality. I manage to find same style, similar price but different manufacturer and when I used them they worked straight away.

These actually work and the flies do not stick to them

I used these years ago and they were great, killed flies dead. BUT they have changed something about the chemical I think, as they no longer work. I watched seven drain flies walk all over the sunflower for ten minutes and then they happily flew away as if nothing had happened. You might as well stick real sunflowers to your windows for all the good these do now, save your money.

Like others, I had been buying Sun Flower window stickers for several years before they were withdrawn. Having a young baby in the house, keeping flies away is imperative but I didn't want to use potent fly sprays around an infant. I tried these Active stickers last year and they were an excellent alternative - but beware similar ones which look like these but are just sticky, like old fashioned fly papers - after a couple of weeks of use, they look gross, with dead insects stuck to them and have to be replaced. The Active stickers are more like the original sun flowers, emitting something deadly to the fly when it crawls over it and within 5 mins, the fly falls to the sill.

I've had a similar product before which I was hoping to buy again but it appears that one of the chemicals in that product has been banned. Bought this an alternative and I'm glad to say that it does the job.

Excellent fly trappers, have two on the French doors and one on the kitchen window. Really notice the difference of less flies about the rooms.
