I used this product years & years ago when in high school & took a cosmetology class & it was used at the school off campus. I have an oily scalp but have highlighted & bleached my hair since I was 16 so the hair needs moisture to combat the damage. This serum is a miracle! I took a chance & looked for it some 30 years later on Amazon & here it is! It is just the best for untangling wet hair after washing without damage & without leaving hair weighed down & greasy looking! It's a leave-in so you don't have to rinse out & a little pea-sized puddle worked through wet hair is all you need. It is super slick for detangling with a wide-toothed comb but as long as you work it throughout your hair it doesn't dry to a crunchy state or goop up hair that is naturally oily & straight like mine. And when it drys, your hair will feel so soft & look so shiny and amazing without making it prematurely greasy. Oh, and it smells great too!

Good product, the smell isn't overpowering and makes my hair soft whether it is straightened or natural. I was worried i would get it with something in it like other people have but i didn't , really hoping when i order it again that i won't get a bad one next time. I don't have to even use a lot to moisturize my hair with it (actually i accidently made my hair like greasy/over moisturized at first since i didn't know that you don't have to use a lot since this is my first time ever using this product)

This treatment never fails to make my hair look healthy and shiny, without weighing it down. My hair is more manageable, and soft, when I use it. Just a dime sized dollop is enough for my long, rather thick hair. A quality product, highly recommended.

This product is fantastic I know it had its heyday in the 80s but there is a reason it's amazing and there is a reason to keep using it I remember seeing my mom having it and she's got a very brittle short curly hair while I have long fine thin hair that has a bit of a wave to it but it's mostly straight. This seems to put proteins into your hair if you put it in just out of the shower and then you can seal it off after you dry your hair with a little bit of it on your hands this bottle is so tiny but a little bit goes such a long way that I'm afraid they're going to discontinue it by the time I'm done with this bottle :-) it is fantastic and I just don't know why I don't see it everywhere these days I literally asked my stylist hey do you have this product that you could put in before you style my hair? She did not but I did send her photos and all that good stuff once it came in because finding the right hair care product line for yourself especially if it's different brands takes some trial and error but I am happy to say this one had no error the trial had a jury and the verdict came out as 100% awesome so buy it do not hesitate don't worry about it don't read all the reviews and stress yourself out just order it and yes it's a very small but don't sweat it because it only takes a little bit to work and even when you put a little bit in you still have extra so my only word of caution would be be careful of putting moisturizer on your face after you've used this because who knows if it might make your skin break out or something so make sure you wash your hands before putting on facial moisturizer if you've done this right out of the shower other than that enjoy this product I might even go buy a big bottle before they discontinue it or something it would break my heart if they did but if this was popular in the 80s and it's still being sold today I think we can all rest assured that buying a small bottle at first is cool and then deciding to buy a larger bottle when you have the money and the time would probably last you about a year at least and I wish my mother would use this again because her hair just breaks at a certain length she was born with their haircut and she still has that haircut LOL but she's always had such trouble with the texture of her hair and I've seen it in her cabinet in the past I just don't know why she's not using it now I recommended the silk cap and this to her and she didn't take my advice but I hope someone here Will because it's a fantastic product and we don't want to have a discontinued. Please buy this you will feel like a goddess our God depending on your gender but you will definitely feel a total hair transformation. I was disappointed because a gel was discontinued that had these qualities but the added benefit of a gel to give your hair a little bit of curl and style. So instead of moaning and being sad about the discontinuing of a great product I found a way to use this in conjunction with a gel in a small amount to give myself the same effect the discontinued gel from shea butter gave me. It's kind of like having a limited diet like I have you're able to put the products into your hair that work for you rather than having them all in one bottle and some of the parts may not be perfect for you so get out the shower put this in your hair and move along knowing that you are going to be feeling like it's beautiful and not want to wash it for days :-)

So I found this from TJ Maxx and I was trying to see if I could find it cheaper. Then I found it on here and got it. I like it a lot. Smells great and feels great on my scalp.

The product is really good probably one of the best products I’ve used for my hair (which is alot) and it helps maintain frizz and makes it so smooth but the texture of it is terrible it feels impossibly greasy and weird and makes your hair look and feel like you haven’t washed it in a atleast a week it’s looks so greasy and the scent smells like a brand new car and something else that makes it smell terrible but the scent is so strong then on top of that you have to wash your hands really well to get rid of the “grease” on them they feel so greasy and slimy so other then those things it’s a great product just the scent texture and looks make it terrible

Really good, smells great, but it is a little greasy. If you have thin hair, it's gonna make it even thinner at first. But it does a really good job keeping hair from drying out, and I live in a very hot and dry area. It's lightweight, and a little goes a long way.

Works very well for the black American. price point good, it lasts between washes and the it not thick and heavy. Will not leave it greasy it came vaccum sealed with no problems.
