Fantastic tractors - 02 type model, so 25% smaller than the 03 type models. Still 1:16 scale - just small tractors for real!
I have purchased several Bruder products, all from Amazon, and each one is simply fantastic. If you have a child (or adult) that loves tracotrs/construction vehicles etc, they will love these products.Bruder Tractors vs competitors:If you are looking at Bruder, you are already onto a winner. I have bought a tractor from Ertl before (another company that makes big tractors), and although its also good quality, it doesn't stand up to quite as much "rough play" as the Bruder brand, altohugh they do take alot still!. Bruder seem to have built their products and tested them to destruction. My boy has sat on some of the tractors and pushed them around - thrown them down stairs, rolled down ramps, crashed them into walls...etc... The Ertl one lasted a lot of playing with, but eventually it did break (though we managed to fix it and told my boy to be less rough with them!). Bruder tractors also have greater detailing. For example on the Ertl tractor the headlights were stickers, whereas on the Bruder tractor, they were plastic parts of the tractor. Small attentions to detail, but make the product look and feel more premium and quality. For Bruder tractors specfically, please be aware that the tractors labelled "02..." are smaller than the tractors labelled "03...."This may seem obvious to some, but others may not realise. Whilst both tractor varieties are excellent, it is wise to be aware. Therefore this tracor is the type 02 variety, so around 25% smaller than its bigger version. This is not due to these being different scales, rather they are simply smaller tracotrs in real life!! Therefore the scaled models are smaller of course. They are still 1:16 scale. However, despite the smaller size, it is still a fantastic tractor, and for the price you also get the bucket and trailer. In fact, some people may prefer the smaller tractor for younger children (aged 2-3) as it is easier for little hands to handle and manipulate.Bruder 02112 Claas Nectis 267F with frontloader and tipping trailer.Functions:The tractor has many moving parts. The wheels of course move, and the front wheels turn keft and right and also angle up and down when on uneven surfaces. The bucket clicks into several different positions, and has enough resistance to hold blocks or lego inside it and still hold. The attaching hook at the back is universal and allows you to attach any other Bruder product to it - trailer, plough, potato cropper, seed drill, etc... And the roof has a small opening which allows you to insert a sterring wheel extension so you can drive you tractor around. If you can't be bothered with the steering wheel, they do drive well, but sometimes you'll need to move the wheels, as they are free turinng, so will turn depending upon friction and surface bumps etc... You can also fit a figure in the cab. Overall, a wide variety of functions and options for play and imagination.Durability:My 3 year old boy loves them and loves to drive them about, putting them to work bulding and carrying, and saving the day rescuing stranded cars! He plays with them daily, and frequently drops thems, bumps them etc, and there has been no damage to any of them, apart from maybe a slightly peeled off sticker. These toys were built to last, and they meet the challenge very very well. The toys are suitable for indoor or outdoor play, and for dry or wet play - just dry them out after to be on the safe side. We use them for general play, moving blocks, but can be equally used in soil and sand or anything you wish to use it in! Overall, extremely durable.Value for money:The tractor is highly durable, and although may seem expensive at £20 or so, it will last forever! As a comparison, i have purchased cheaper unbranded toys for a few pounds (maybe £5) and whilst he still loves playing with them, those cheaper toys are now broken due to rough/prolonged play. The cheaper toys are simply made of less stern stuff, and yet again the old sayings ring ture - buy cheap, buy twice - you get what you pay for ...etc.... Also for the price, you get the trailer and bucket, which adds to the enjoyment of the product, and allows greater variations for play :) Overall, very good value for money.Overall:I'd highly recommend this product to anyone who has a child/adult who is keen on tractors, especially for smaller children (ages 2-3) who may find these slightly smaller tractors easier to play with, rather than their larger versions. The price may look expensive (around £20), but for what you get its an absolute bargain. The tractor will stand the test of time, and years from now it will still look like new, while all the other cheap toys will be broken and twisted! Buy without fear or concern. These tractors are fantastic.

Built to last
Never go past Bruder for our 2 lively grandsons. Maybe a wee bit more expensive than other brands but well worth it as last seemingly forever.

Nice well made toy
Nice well made tractor. A little smaller than expected (we also have a john deer tractor which is a bit bigger than this) but my sons loves it (age 2 and 4). The sides come down on the trailer and they like that you can move the front scoop up and down.
