This silicon is a little more money but well worth it . A clean white easy to put down and drys quickly I will buy it again . Six bathrooms you have to keep on top of the jobs in the house

Installed it long time ago, still mould free. Definitely better than other brands.

Obviously, I can't comment on the 10-year suitability of the bacterial protection, but I'll come back in 2027 and let you know how it faired ;)This is really thick silicone and goes off VERY quickly, so much so that doing my shower I had to remove part of the first application after only 10-15 minutes of being in place as it started to 'bobble' when smoothing off.It seems really good stuff, but you have to be quick. Both myself and my partner did some of the sealing and I found it to be a bit frustrating, but we got there in the end.

Normally I just use a wet finger or a smoothing tool to smooth sealant then clean up any excess with the smoothing tool. This time I wanted to have a clean sharp and above all straight seam, so used masking tape. BIG mistake!!! the sealant dries so quickly that by you have reached the end of the seam, the other end of the sealant is firmly stuck to the masking tape, so when I tried to remove the tape it made a huge mess. so when using this, when people say it dries quickly, they mean really quickly especially outside. Once the mess has set I will have to re-apply it without tape to get anywhere near a good finish.
