Does the smell linger? I'm wanting to varnish insides of drawers that my babies clothes will be going in (Due in one month - enough time?)

Hi Kathryn, it will be no problem for your use, if you can leave them to dry outside the house , I.E. shed or garage, for a couple of days, they will be fully dry and smell free. Takes a little bit longer to fully dry in cold weather, but a great product.

Would 250ml be enough to completely cover a toddler bed?

I would assume that as you can wash the brushes in water then the varnish is water based.

You can use varnish thats water based over acrylic and this product is water based.i use it myself .
