Wonderful World of Horses Coloring Book (Dover Nature Coloring Book)

This book is so beautiful. I love John Green’s horses and medieval colouring books. His horse anatomy and backgrounds are just fabulous. Only negative is I wish the paper quality was better (thicker) or perhaps just printed on one side. However, don’t let that deter you from purchasing if you love colouring realistic horse pictures, as I do. His work is fantastic!

This was such a good find - most gifts re horses are designed with 'little girls' in mind and come with pink bows etc etc. This may 'only' be a colouring book, but it is a perfect gift for my nephew who is horse mad. The pictures are all of 'real' horses in different environments. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you

I love the variety of the pictures I just wish the paper was thicker as it states suitable for watercolours but its very hard to use even bendable pencils on these as the paper tears . The time I did use watercolour on one the paint bled thru to the nxt picture when using only a damp brush to blend , the painted picture was OK but it ruined the one underneath

I got this as a present for someone, who loved it. The pictures have a nice combination of small areas to colour along with larger areas to colour which is great because she could do the bigger bits and I could do the smaller bits. Just right for grown ups and kids to share :)

My mum bought it for me because I love drawing and I am mad about horses. She thought I would love it and she was right. The drawings are beautiful and it was a pleasure to colour them. These books have also helped me to get better in my drawings of ponies.

9 yr old daughter loved finding this in her stocking. Difficult to find colouring books past a certain age, but these are certainly not babyish. Also bought her the "how to draw horses" book which is also excellent and when feeling more tired she likes to use this
