Love it!My dermatologist recommended Calm and Restore for a skin condition. A small amount spreads nicely on my hands. Goes on after my medication. I use it every day now. It is great for moisturizing. Colorless once on, and fragrance free. Very different formula and a higher price than Aveeno's regular hand and body lotion, but worth every penny. I found Amazon pricing to be lower than any of my local stores. Comparison shopping paid off.

I love this Calm and Restore line Aveeno line and have 2-3 other products. This as a balm seems to seal my skin better than the others and I was looking for something that would specifically help restore my skin barrier. It’s lightweight, smooth and not sticky. It doesn’t soak in as much as their serum and moisturizer that I have so this is my final coat to lock in everything. As with all Aveeno products this is a great value for the money. And cheaper on Amazon than CVS. Great quality and lovely feeling on my skin. Will always repurchase this.

Good product

This product line seems to be a miss for me. I've tried the serum and gel and I don't adore the texture on my face. I thought I would try the balm in hopes it was similar to barrier creams. Unfortunately, it leaves a tacky residue on my face. It's not irritating, but along with the serum and gel in the line, the texture is a miss for me.

When your skin is red and irritated, its best to just keep things simple. If you like the effects of the LaRoche Posay Cicaplast Baume but it is too heavy for you or you don't like the texture, you will love this. Its super moisturizing and soothing but yet it isn't greasy or heavy. Really helps to reduce redness, calm irritation, and restore the skin barrier. I've been putting a little bit of CeraVe ointment over this cream on extra dry areas and that has proven to be a magic combo. I just bought another one of these creams for a backup. My only complaint is that I think this cream is too expensive for the amount that you get. I think a 3-4 oz size for this price would be more reasonable.
