Q: Will the rack system work with a tonneau cover?

Yes. I have it mounted on the bed rails of a 2919 Silverado with my hard tonneau cover in place.

Q: Do you have to drill holes in the bed of the truck to install this?

Yes, you have to drill holes. I was hoping they would mount in the factory rail system but they do not.

Q: How does this rack actually connects to the bed rack? Is it bolted or do you use a clamp system.?

This is bolted and does not come with a clamp system. I’m still working on getting it connected to my truck bed as it is quite a pain.
