Does it fit in car cup holders?

Standard size, no. We have a Nissan Frontier that has a removable piece, and that does let mine fit. For my work car, I bought an adjustable cup holder adapter and it works great. Perfect size to take for work in the summer. I have a 40 oz and it is a bit big for general use.

I can’t seem to get the hinged chug lid up... does it strew off or pull up? I feel kinda stupid for not being able to get the chug lid to pop up...

The top of the cap screws on to the opening to keep the cap in place, when you unscrew it, the cap should just come off.

When you sit the bottle down does make a ton of noise?

Depends on how hard you set it down. It is metal so it will “clang” if you are not easy with it. If you drop it, it will make a very loud noise.
