Quick and Easy Installation. Even if you are a non-technical person!
This product works as advertised and is a quick & easy way to connect 2 monitors. I bought a cheap new laptop, since I only use it for email, reading the newspapers, and Google searchs (No gaming!). The new laptop had only 1 HDMI video output and NO USB-C. I thought I was going to be stuck having to use only one monitor, or buy a better laptop. This was a cheap solution and easy to setup. I downloaded/installed the driver, rebooted the laptop, and turned on the monitors. My desktop was immediately extended and I was good to go. No hassles!

PERFECT LITTLE UNIT!!
This little switcher does the job, plug an play and it was ready. I have the Xbox SX and the PS5 going to it and it does EXACTLY what I needed it to do. Since my TV only has one 4k - 120 port I wanted my gaming consoled to take advantage and with this HDMI which both ports support it did it without any issues. Highly recommended and as a bonus it switched automatically when I turn each console which was a nice surprise, just hold down the power button on the unit and then it'll take care of the rest.

Excellent Choice for My Karaoke Setup
Arrived promptly and was exactly as described. Simple setup and perfect performance within minutes. Being used in a karaoke setup. One output wired directly to the singer’s screen for reliability, the second output being used for wireless HDMI for multiple audience screens. Even if the wireless lags or fails, the singer’s screen remains stable. Very pleased with this purchase.

Orei splitend projects the screen
See I had a problem trying to hook my Azus Zenfone 10 hardwired HDMI because it didn't have MHL, Dex or HDMI Adapter in the phone. Wirelessly you can project with Cromcast which requires an internet connection and MS Display which is offline no internet connection. But to hardwire HDMI from your television set to your smartphone requires Orei SplitExtend USB to HDMI Display Adapter. One end of HDMI goes into the television set and the other end goes into the SpitExtend. The SpitExtend has USB A and USB C. USB A or USB C for newer computers is to hook up a computer to a number of monitors and it can go up to about 9 monitors. USB C can be use to hook up your smartphone to a television set or monitors using the compatibility of Android and it's SMI app that has be found on the Google Play store. Make it Android 7.1 or higher.Once you got it all set up and when you plug it into the phone sometimes it has its delay where you have to replug it to get it to pick it up. That's about it other than that it will project and usually you have to lay it like on a flat surface the whole assembly between your smartphone and the SplitExtend. SpitExtend will work through Hubs and Spitters. I'm still trying to combine my Hitachi portable DVD player with the with the SpitExtend. My Hitachi portable DVD player works with Android also with a couple of apps but the Hitachi portable DVD player likes to splitter but doesn't like the hub because when it's connected to the hub it starts it starts humming. But the Hitachi portable DVD player will connect to the smartphone The only way you can project is to the TV is through wireless means as of now. I only gave it The four Stars for the SpitExtend because of the slight delay of you might have to replug back in for it to take automatically. There's nothing that you have to do manually and it even say that in the SMI app. Also I thought I would cover this review because it just said that it was compatible with Android but it didn't say much of anything else because she had to buy the product to find out. Just got the computers there are YouTube videos but nothing on Android compatibility. Newegg had extra information on it like the 7.1 or higher compatibility for Android. I got this product on Amazon during its Black Friday deals. It's more expensive elsewhere. To hook up the SpitExtend to your smartphone with hub or spitter with Power Delivery will ensure that you can a movie with out without draining your smartphone to zero. This is how it is for my Hitachi portable DVD player that's compatible with Android you can hook a splitter with a power delivery because the Hitachi DVD player will warn you that you might not be able to finish the movie.

Automatically switches to active HDMI device
This switcher is amazing. It was bought to replace a switcher I had that stopped switching, making me manually switch HDMIs again. This one is better than the last one I had because it automatically switches to the HDMI that is powered on. Couldn't ask for more.

it does not work with a Cube PC Computer
I purchased the OREI after trying two other HDMI 1 to 2 expanders. The first one connected to my cube, running windows 10, via the HDMI port and the second was tried using the USB C port. The first two behaved identically. Yes I had video but the mouse was screwed up.The problem was that the mouse would not shift between the two monitors unless you moved it left on monitor 1 and then found it on the right side of monitor 2. As my wife said this set up was driving her crazy I researched the OREI. The video was well done and I had high expectations but alas, NO JOY.It behaved just as the other two, much less expensive boxes, did. I then downloaded the drivers that were referenced on the video....I thought surely this is the problem..... Again "no Joy".I could make it work if I powered on the cube and then connected the OREI with one monitor (a DELL) , then connected the second monitor (a Samsung) to the orei..... not the way it should have worked but the mouse behaved well..... then the next problem surfaced.... the Samsung monitor was fuzzy..... the dell monitor was perfect (crisp, bright) and if you did a reboot, the old mouse problem would come back. Oh yes changing the ports that fed the monitors on the OREI did not help.... the dell remained crisp and bright while the Samsung got fuzzy regardless of which monitor setting I used with windows or which port on the OREI I used... If I only used the Samsung monitor on the cube, without the OREI, all was perfect ...bright crisp and very easy to read.. the same with the dell..... both monitors behaved as what I would expect. In addition, the cube would not start a program on the desk top. The mouse would move to the icon but nothing worked if you single or double clicked on any program located anyplace. Now I am not planning to return it, but really think I should as it was a failure from the beginning, but I have given away the other 2 expanders and really need a way to work with 2 monitors. I have resigned myself to simply using it with the limitations noted above.Perhaps this works OK with a Mac (I have not tried it with my Macbook Air) but if that is the case then the description need to be clear on that point. I purchased it because I had a desktop cube and wanted to run two monitors ....Therefor, I can not recommend it as any kind of a useful solution..... thus the 1 star ratingI will try their tech support line as a very last resort ..... but I have very low expectations as this type of device should be a plug and play and unless there is some magic software that will make it work, then it is close to worthless.... as a true dual monitor interface that sort-of works it does fine. But I would never buy it again nor would I recommend it.
