Is the reverse side also black .... or is it white ?

It's white. The anthracite is more of a dark grey/navy colour but it is a really nice colour

What is the best way to secure these for external shed cladding?

Stainless steel ribbed nails plastic headed to the colour as cladding,they come in different colours and lengths

Can this be used on the front of a house for decoration purposes

This joints on hollow soffit board are not guaranteed to be water tight however it can be used externally and is often used as soffit board which doesn't need to be water tight.
