Q: Has anyone used this as a simple anti-snoring device? (without cpap equipment)?

I have used this strap as such. It won't help you quit snoring completely but does help reduce snoring. At least for me.

Q: Does the Primada super deluxe cpap chin strap have two straps to use for the back of the head to keep the chin strap from moving?

No longer. The current version has one strap, it's sewn to the headband, and can't be moved. It's also very short, making the strap completely unusable for large heads.

Q: How effective is the strap at reducing snoring?

I does keep your mouth closed, so it worked for me. But it led to a case of contact dermatitis, so I went to a full face mask (Simplus) instead. When worn tightly, that does stop snoring, but not quite as completely as the chin strap...though without the contact dermatitis.

28 1/2" but its strechable a bit.
