It lasted me a year and a half
For those who want to know, this charger lasted me a year and a half before it simply stopped charging. I just got a replacement and it is charging my old chrome book just fine.

**edit** I think it's been over a year now and I completely forgot that I had bought a replacement charger for it until I just got a notification about it from Amazon. I have never had over heating problems even if the charger is covered up.**original**I've had it for a couple weeks now and it works great! I have no complaints.
