bought one. The handle has 2 set screws and doesn’t seem to fit or stay on the crank shaft. Am I missing a piece?

I just ordered mine and thought I had the same issue. I kept trying to place the handle and no matter what it wouldn’t hold. Just as I tried on last time, I rotated the handle and pushed in and it actually fit snug into place and screws firmly hold it. Definitely could use better instructions then the broken English on the paper. Hopefully this message doesn’t find you to late.

Picture shows silver metal handwheel. i got a cheap black plastic. why? busted up in shipping. the fold down tables also dented. terrible packaging

Has anyone tried to add a motor to this? From the photos it looks like there might be a square opening on the top roller.. Not sure it's usable thoug

the roller shaft is 11mm and has a hole for a set screw. Take off the handle and make a bracket. I suggest a geared down stepper motor as you'll want the torque and precise control.

Will this work good for mounting on self adhesive 3/16 inch foam core boards?

Yes. I have the 51 inch model which can handle material over an inch thick when needed. The smaller models should also handle foamboards ok too. Remember than foam board can be squished, like indenting it with your finger when pressing too hard, so run your work through 2 or three times, adding a little more pressure each time to insure you get a smooth and even surface for the finished product. The self adhesive foam board is expensive. It's cheaper to buy a roll of double sided pressure sensitive adhesive. Just set it in place between your artwork and the foam board and roll it through.
