Can it hold dry erase boards?

Only if the dry erase boards are the same size as clipboards.

Has anyone else received this and the screw holds did not line up? a waste.

Mine lined up (I purchased 2). I find them very helpful once I understood the instructions and put them together.

Can you store the clipboard with paper in it? Or is it too bulky?

The slots can fit 3 clipboards so 1 clipboard with paper will fit easily.

I see it says 12-36 clipboards fit, how do 36 clipboards fit?

I put 1 clip board in each slot. They fit but I had a hard time fitting them in. The clipboards I have are the typical brown colored ones.
