Now this person has the rite idea!!! Just TRY experimenting with the equipment you own to get the most out of it! LEARN BY DOING. You might be very pleasantly surprised with your educational experience!

Yes, unfortunately it pops. It doesn't bother me at home but I would not turn it on/off while on stage - use a good tuner pedal or a volume pedal to mute instead.

Doesn't work; each transmitter / receiver have different pairing parameters. Since I had a transmitter fail, which incidentally was immediately replaced by the vendor with a complete new boxed set - I had the opportunity to test this scenario: 1 transmitter / two receivers. While a transmitter can be paired with one or the other, it cannot be paired to two receivers at the same time. A solution to this is to use a splitter box like the ART Audio SplitMix4 (or similar). That will give you signal level control to each amp as opposed to a Y cable.
