Please read this if you have dry skin!While visiting Japan, I went to a Korean skincare salon in Asakusa. This (ma:nyo pure cleansing oil) was what was offered as one of the products to cleanse my skin with prior to the facial I had done. After using it, my skin felt far more hydrated and not oily whatsoever. I don't wear makeup so I can't attest to its makeup removability, but my skin felt very clean and refreshed. When I returned home, I bought it immediately and have been using it ever since.Since this is an oil-based cleanser, you must emulsify it. Start by applying the oil cleanser to a dry face. Gently massage your face with the oil, ensuring you get in the creases at the sides of your nose and your hairline. It is smooth and glides well on the skin. Then, wet your hands and continue massaging gently. You will notice that the oil cleanser turns from a clear, golden color into a milky liquid. Continue adding water as needed. Then, wash it off your face completely. Take your time! It is a good practice to double cleanse with a non-oil based cleanser afterward. This also ensures that no oil is left behind. (Please note it has an herbal, spa-like scent). If you have dry skin like me, I highly recommend this product!

I originally bought this cleanser on a trip in Korea, and I am so glad I did! I have combination skin so always using a really strong cleanser just doesn’t work for my skin type. I absolutely love this stuff. It melts off your make up in one go, and it is the perfect morning cleanser to wipe off all the oils we build up and any leftover skin care. I have noticed a difference in my blackheads on my nose, which is my main problem area. I wouldn’t say it really cleans them out, but in between facials and extractions it for sure keeps them at bay and delays that buildup of sebum. I have tried a a few other oil cleansers and so far this is my favorite!

Totally changed my skin care routine. Totally removes my make up without completely stripping my skin and leaving my skin feeling tight. It is not that great at removing waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Plus side it doesn’t burn my eyes when I use it to remove my eye makeup. Overall, I loved this product. It really removes makeup and cleanses the skin. It’s great as the first step to double cleansing.

Worked really well with my skin that normally gets really dry. It’s like a good base cleaner before my heavy duty cleaner. If I use just my second cleaner my face gets very dry and flakey. This works great to make my skin smooth

Some of the more popular oils break me out even when they say they won't and this does NOT. Tskes off all my eye makeup. I double wash, and this is my first wash. I will always use this. Best!

This cleanser is great! I use it as part of my double cleansing routine or if I have a heavy makeup day. It effectively removes all my makeup while still being gentle on sensitive skin. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and glowy. Would definitely recommend!

This Manyo Cleansing Oil effectively removes impurities using Argan kernel oil and 14 plant-derived oils. I have been using this cleansing oil for the past week after ordering it a week ago. I can confidently say that I genuinely enjoy it. Its simplicity is noteworthy; simply apply a couple pumps into your palm and massage the oil onto your dry face in a circular motion for approximately one minute. Subsequently, lightly add water to your hand and massage it over your face for another minute. Finally, rinse off. The result is exceptionally soft and clean skin, effectively removing all makeup, including eye makeup. Having been using a different brand of makeup cleanser for several years, I felt compelled to make a change. I am delighted with the decision I made.

Broke me out sooooo so bad, not saying oil cleansers are bad or this one specifically, BUT be mindful that what works for someone else may not work for you! It’s been 3 months and my derm had to prescribe me Tretinoin. I’ve never had acne except for the occasional pimple once a month. I got this in hopes to clear my blackheads on my nose. Oh well. On a side note, it’s amazing at removing makeup! I only wear eye makeup so I do still use it with a cotton pad to remove my mascara, other than that oil stays off my face 😂
