Can I use my black & decker charger?

We have an old Black & Decker battery powered blower- they work fine in the charger. Just be careful, the outside 'sleeve' comes off!

Has anyone used these in a black & decker scumbuster? are these waterproof? thanks!

The scumbuster DOES use these batteries. While they are NOT waterproof, the scumbuster itself is just water resistant as a unit. You should be good to go!

Ni-Mh ........they are not lithium.

Can I use my black & decker charger?

I know longer have the single unit Black and Decker charger (tools wore out) but I do have a Dust Buster from Black and Decker (old) and it uses these batteries, two of them. The original batteries were NiCad, and had a memory, so you had to run the battery down until it was almost dear before recharging, or it wouldn’t completely charge. Then Black and Decker came out with their “Gold” battery. It worked in all of the chargers (screwdriver, flashlight and 2 of them in my Dust Buster) and the Gold battery units had more power, and no memory problem, so a great improvement. I no longer have any of the single chargers, but the Dustbuster uses two of the batteries and these new NiMh batteries work beautifully in the Dustbuster which charges both batteries at the same time. They do not get warm when charging, and the Dust Buster performs that same as it did with the old NiCad (silver label) and the better “Gold” (maybe were NiMh, but I don’t know) improved batteries. My Dustbuster hung on the wall in it’s charging station for many years, unusable, until I was about to throw it out, then checked with Amazon for the Versapak batteries and took a chance. They work swell, and I didn’t realize how much I missed the Dustbuster.
