What the heck?
I'm coming up on age 64, here's some bonafides about my hair:* My hair WAS naturally dark blonde/light brown. I've been home-dyeing it red (warm red since 1998, before finally finding my perfect cool red just four years ago) Within 4 months of going cool (And LOVING it!) the grays started coming in (Of course...). Within a year it was like stray-gray whack-a-mole. After I retired I decided to stop with the red since I no longer had to consider co-workers asking "So... What's up with your hair?" I realized, though I may never have all-over gray, silver or white like I hope, I just didn't have the energy to fight anymore. So, like Elsa, I just let it go.*My hair length is midway down my back but needs about 4-5" cut off (I let it go, alright!). From the root to about 2/5 down it's silver over light brown with white taking over around my face and nape. I still have 3/5 length from the bottom-up that's faded cool red to let grow out and trim off before I can make any concrete decisions about what to do with whatever remains.* My hair is naturally wavy but it goes frizzy/straight when blown dry. So, I've had "problem texture" all my life. I have a lot of hair but I also have the kind of texture that makes it seem like even more when blown dry (Poof City). Meanwhile, my hair STRANDS are each thinner than cobweb filament. If I let my hair down, the slightest breeze creates chaos, with hair in my eyes and mouth - So I NEVER wear it down. And decades of dyeing equals decades of damage, I can't recall ever having shine or smooth hair, naturally, even before I colored my hair. I used to fall for every hair product gimmick. NOTHING made my hair look any different once it was blown dry.Until now.I ordered this wet/dry plastic bristle brush on a whim when ordering other stuff I needed. I expected nothing from my impulse buy (reviews were so positive... yeah, yeah...yawn). It was a month before I got it - but it wasn't like I was over here panting with expectation so, imagine my shock when I got this ordinary-looking tool, went to use IT on my just-washed hair, and had an incredible experience. I've used it on my wet hair four times, so far. But this is what I've experienced from each use:* Working from the tips to scalp, untangling all of my hair took SECONDS and was so EASY,* Compared to the comb, my bathroom sink had no broken off hair bits that I could see - and only a few naturally shed strands, post comb-thru. I really couldn't believe that. Still can't,* After drying my hair, I don't know how, but the texture is smoother and the overall appearance is MUCH shinier, even the grays!* The brush DOES seem to make my hair less POOFY and after I remove my chignon scrunchy my hair IS a bit flatter - BUT the overall effect is hair that's far more controlled than chaotic, and the curls and waves are surprisingly... glam, without effort.Literally NOTHING else about my hair care has changed. I'm using the same budget shampoo/conditioner (brand/formula/cost, has never made any difference) 6 days a week and violet shampoo/mask (to brighten the look of my incoming grays) on day 7. All that's changed is the switch from comb to THIS BRUSH. Every time I let my hair down in front of the mirror I think, 'How can this brush do all this?' It just doesn't LOOK like anything special.I highly recommend this brush for anyone - but especially people who use any chemical treatments, battle frizz, have long hair, damage, or wiry grays. THIS BRUSH surprised me. It might surprise you, too.

Less breakage!
I've been using this hair brush for over a year now after my hairstylist recommended it to me. So far, it is still intact. It's made of great quality. The bristles are soft but strong at the same time.I have medium -long hair and this brush works perfect on my hair. It's very easy to clean. It has stopped my hair breakage and thinning to a 95%! ( with other hair brushes, my hair would break off a lot and they all used to pull my hair very badly they would make my hair fall in large amounts!)One tip I would give is when detangling, do it starting from the ends towards the top so you avoid breakage. It has worked perfectly for me!❤️

An absolute GAME CHANGER
Ok, so imagine this...I have a 5yr old who yes, already prides herself in being her girly self. She likes her pretty dresses and matching bows. She has a "pretty" shoe collection to rival her mom's. She THINKS she has a face and body regimen complete w lotions & sprays that matches other kids in spite of the fact that I assure her that no, in fact, she IS spoiled. She has enjoyed trips to the nail salon since she was about 3 1/2 and to top it allll off, my jewelry loving, crown wearing, perfected her curtsy princess self also has naturally wavy/gently curly hair down to her waist to match the persona. Let me tell you, that sweet little princess, while she likes the end result, turns into nothing short of a monstrous miniture banshee the second a brush touches her hair. Have you ever attempted to bathe a cat that hates water? Yes? Well NOW we are on the same page. The hair brushing part of grooming more often than not turns into a very brutal game of cat and mouse. I'm petite. Being my daughter, so is she but I kid you not, she develops speed and super strength like none other. She can squirm, run and crawl pretty much daring you to grab her ankle and drag her back. If you've ever seen the CROODS- the famous scene, "release the baby", that is us. If you haven't seen it I recommend a quick Google or YouTube search. You'll laugh, you might cry, you might even have pity on my poor soul.Anyway, at some point, it usually develops into one or both of us in tears. It gets worse before it gets better. But alas!! (insert heavenly music) this brush...Don't get me wrong, I have tried MANY different wet & detangling brushes. Including the very well-known tear shaped version. I myself have naturally curly hair- spirals that hate humidity no less. I understand hair. Plus, i have worked in several salons over the years including those that specialize in multicultural hair. Different textures and grades have particular needs indeed. I've been through chemo multiple times too and so I need something gentle on the hair and scalp that could still manage the curls when they came back in. While the tear shape came close, this one takes it hands-down.The very first thing I noticed was the actual feel of the brush and bristles. It's a soft plastic. Smooth to the touch. The bristles are multi-lengthed which allow you to really penetrate the hair. They are perfectly flexible. That flexibilty is what gives the detanglers the ability to do their job without ripping out the hair. These are a little more so. They are thus able to work WITH the hair instead of snagging causing more damage by stretching and snapping strands. Additionally, the smoothness of the bristles allows the brush to glide without getting stuck. It's perfect for working product through the length. What I especially LOVE is the shape! It is ergonomically designed. It fits perfectly in the hand giving you unparalleled control. Especially when using a leave in conditioner or detangler. Those tear-shaped brushes can be a pain to maintain a good grip on. Especially when you have Houdini Jr trying to wiggle away at the slightest pull and then when feeling a let up of restriction on my part takes that as her queue to flee like her life depends on it. In seriousness, I often have problems with my hands due to my medical. They hurt to grip and so again, the shape and feel of this brush makes it easy for me to manage. It's "soft" and comfortable. When all is said and done, a quick rinse under running water and there is NO product left to create build up for later. I know you've seen it- it's maddening to say the least. Who wants to put THAT back in their hair?!?! One important note however, this brush is NOT intended for use with heat. Use it as a natural styler or pre-detangler either in or after the shower!I can't wait to tell the other women in my family about this. From thick, to thin, curls, waves, medical needs etc- this one does it. I'll actually be ordering an extra for our house. Why??? Well, even my husband laughed hard when "she-beast" came running out of the bathroom and down the hall to where he was in the living room watching tv. He was expecting the same drama but what he got was a little girl stopped dead in front of him. She leans to the side so that her hair falls, hanging in front of him. In a dramatic but matter-of-fact display, she pulls the brush from her scalp all the way to the ends announcing, "No pulls, no snarls." What we got was our very own infomercial but hey, it speaks for itself!

WOULD DEFINETLY BUY AGAIN!
Let me tell you when I tried it I knew it was perfect! It doesnt pull your hair harshly and it works really well. Its very strong and it was able to smoothen out my tangled hair in minutes! The size is perfect for your hands especially. I recommend getting this one and not the mini version for your children. It also makes my hair smooth, straight, and soft too! This a perfect product!

Lightweight and portable
First - the brush is a cute color combo - the mint green and pink are really great! Love that it's lightweight and doesn't get damaged during transit when traveling. I have thin strands that tend to get tangled easily, and the brush does a good job of getting them out without hurting my head. It's relatively easy to get the hairs that gets stuck on the brush out too. However - the size is a little small - both on the handle and the head itself, however, so if you have thicker hair this brush might not be for you.
