I would assume you have to play this with people you know well right? Probably not good as an icebreaker, but more for say... college reunion?
Is this game like Cards Against Humanity?
Is this game like never have i ever, the game of poor life decisions? I heard never have i ever was a lot more social.
I want to get this for my 14 year old daughter. Should I or is it too mature?

Is a blast when played with the right people!

—-UPDATE—We’ve used this game plenty of times & its always great fun! We have the Cards Against Humanity extension packs so its usually a toss up but this game requires very little thought & goes A LOT faster.Have egos been bruised? Yep. Have we always had a blast & learned new things about ourselves? Absolutely! We usually have to start a “ghost friend” pile for a member who’s not there cuz there’s always cards that fit them more perfectly than those who are playing (everyone has ‘that friend’).No one knows you better than those you spend the most time with….Its interesting that some cards are claimed without a fight while some are only accepted after arguing “I’m not like that!” or “——is more like that than I am!”This game can be shockingly enlightening when a group of friends unanimously pick you for something you where completely unaware was apart of your personality! Those traits you’d never tell a loved one unless u were trying to be mean / spiteful during an argument…they’re going to come out while playing this game. Except they’ll be accompanied with stories & laughs that take the sting out of something that would hurt otherwise! An unforeseen silver lining is that this truly helped me learn about parts of myself I’d like to work on!!My advice to those who feel this game is hurtful - try to remember that those pointing the finger also LOVE AND ACCEPT YOU because ur imperfectly perfect! I think we feel hurt because we can’t imagine ourselves wanting to be friends with someone who acts that way…but your people do!So even when something seems horrid & ur shocked to learn its part of ur personality….remember to look around the room to be thankful you’ve found ppl to love u despite all ur shortcomings (cuz we ALL have um)….n the cards are headed back ur way so u’ll be pointing the finger @ someone else soon!-ORIGINAL -I haven't yet played this game but purchased it for a girls weekend that we have coming up in January. After reading through the cards I found myself thinking of the people I wanted to give certain cards too & laughing out loud. Then I started wondering which cards were going to be handed to me!I agree with other reviewers that this probably best played with people who you are VERY close to and you know they can take a joke or let thinfs roll of their shoulder! I can see how pride and feelings could easily get hurt for someone who is sensitive (and sometimes maybe someone who isn't).However, it's all in good fun and if you know how to do that then this is one of the best games I've seen since Cards Against Humanity. I'm SO excited to play it next weekend!

Funny, BUT......

I gifted this through a white elephant party and we all were excited to crack it open, being that all of us had a great buzz and were ready to play something to get us all laughing at our family get together.I would honestly have given this game a little higher of a review had there not been so many cards drawn that NOBODY normal or with minimal intelligence could relate to.Checking out pictures of the cards on a Google image search mostly shows the good cards that just about anyone could pin on someone or take accountability for. However, as I said.. half, if not more of them were just ridiculous.I cant remember right off the bat what some of the card descriptions were, but I DO remember multiple times, someone would draw a card and look at everyone and say "I'm Just gonna pick another one". We had a WAAAY bigger pile of reject cards than actual cards in play due to scenarios that no one could relate to. But maybe that's just my crazy family. We laughed for the most part.. there are some pretty funny ones, but nowhere near the mass amount of unrealistic cards that made this a flop. I feel like overall, it was just cheesy and wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for the hilarity that ensues with a game on the level of cards against humanity.

Fun game!

I bought this for a friend for Christmas. My friends & I played it on NYE & we all loved it! This game is great for a specific friend group (as long as your friend group won't take things too personal, a bunch of laughs will be shared).

They should call it: Who is Least Basic

This game was a HUGE success. It was played at a party of drunk college students and by the time we finished everyone was asking me to bring it back to the next party. I recommend this game is best for young people (teens-mid 20s) that all know each other pretty well. Great for a party session where people can come in and out, people don't have to do much to jump in. I think at our lowest we had 5 people and at our greatest we had 15. Here is how the game is played:Original Instructions: Someone is a judge, picks a card, and passes it to the person on their left. That person reads the card, then accuses someone in the group that it is most like. The group has a minute or so to talk, then the judge finally decides who it goes to. The person who has 7 cards loses. How we played: Someone is a judge, reads the card, and accuses someone in the group. Everyone in the group may now have time to argue the person they think it is, but the judge selects in the end who gets the card. Every time a player reaches 7 they lose, and we played until we had the last 3 people standing. So instead of the typical round of the judge and the accuser, we just had the judge be the accuser. Our instructions allowed more people to get talking and a lot of people owned up to it which was always hilarious. Honestly, I am not sure if it would work with every group because I could see some people getting offended by it. If your friends all make fun of each other, and more importantly themselves, this is a great game for them.UPDATE: I am still playing this game. In my primary group of friends we still have yet to get all cards (we have probably played about 10 times) and has had success in all new groups I bring it to. I highly recommend this game!
